What happens when u try to film a police officer

 

I mentioned before how a few years ago tactical teams in The Baltimore area were being criticized for their no knock warrants and how that was causing unnecessary violence. Found a comic from that time period.



During that time I was on the Sunspot forums and some people were over the top claiming what they'd do if these teams busted into their home, but one guy who claimed to be on one of these teams really seemed to love to troll these people egging them on to make his day. I have no doubt there are some who don't have the proper temperament to operate on these teams. Hopefully they do a better job weeding them out.

 

I do not have such a good view of what is taking place with most of these PDs. I seriously think that it is a concerted effort by Judges, District Attorneys, lawyers, and other elected persons to grab as much power as they can before the "Wreck goes down under the waves". Call me paranoid, but this is what I think due to several factors, one being the refusal to decrease government overreach, and another if the allowance of overt power grabs by government through elected and non-elected personnel and the "higher" courts allowing extreme to subtitle violations of supposed constitutionally protected natural rights. If this is not a deliberate march to authoritarianism, than I do not know what living under oppression and repression is. I see all of these actions and behaviors, including the degeneracy of the population(s) as playing a key role in this; the best way for scoundrels to rule is through the purveyance of immorality, which is lack of self-restriction.

I think you've been watching too many John Wick movies.

Seriously, they were dealing with it, by calling the police.

 

When watching this film and noting how the woman with Shaver was recovered alive and handled quite professionally, I noted a change in the attitude of the cop. He became more aggressive and assertive and I figured that he was getting ready to shoot the guy come what may.

For me 2nd degree murder would've been the right judgement. Letting him off scot-free was a terrible and prejudiced decision.

 

And then bitch and moan about how brutal the police are?
Maybe an urban legend but the story went like this:
Late one night a guy in LA heard a noise outside his house. Looks outside and sees 3 guys breaking into his garage.
Calls the cops only to be told that they don't have a unit in his area that can respond and the dispatcher advises that he just keep the doors locked and stay in his house as he's in no immediate danger.
The guy hangs up, waits for 5 minutes then calls the cops again telling them not to worry about sending a car because he just shot 2 of the burglars and the other ran off.
Within 2 minutes the place was surrounded by police cars who arrested 3 burglars.
The officer in charge stormed up to the guy, got in his face and said "You told the dispatcher that you shot 2 guys"
To which the guy responded "And your dispatcher told me that there wasn't a unit available, which makes us both liars"

 

Well it seems all the Police apologists here have taken a pass

As for me - I feel that I must apologize for my Rhetoric & the use of the PIG epithet

The utter Outrage I feel at these atrocious acts committed under Color of Law, however still boils.

Make no mistake, this is no joking matter. But how stupid must one be to shove your hands into your shorts rapidly while a cop is pointing a gun at you. No sympathy.

 

It looked like an involuntary movement to me, one the guy wasn't really conscious of. You don't kill someone because of that, you restrain your fear and act professionally. And if you don't have the capacity to act cooly in stressful situations, then give up the badge and take up knitting or stamp collecting instead.

Me, I think the cop should've been prosecuted for 2nd degree murder given his history.

We are in accord as far as the cop should be put on trial.

The victims movements were autonomous. He had no conscious knowledge or control about what he was doing. We all do things like this under pressure; crossing or uncrossing legs, moving or gripping our hands, scratching our nose, head etc. I understand he was hitching up his pants, which if true, is just about the most autonomous action a man can make - it's a deep-rooted action far below consciousness.

The cop, however, was far more in control and if he wasn't he shouldn't be a cop toting an M15.
