Agree! Ask Sallyally and other O.Z.'s, a more normal, English speaking people aboot it. I don't get it either. Especially if a regions diversity was sufficient to support its' population. I mean if people are living peacefully in their Shire, ref.: Tolkian Why? Someones (Globalist) sold the sub continent a load of . . . . Tell me it ain't so. Social Engineering sez O.Z.'s need more Asians in Melbourne. Housed in high rise apartments normal folks would find more adaptable to an outhouse. Japan should create whatever tax laws and public support for Japanese children as makes parenthood less of a burden. But, that requires proper housing too. With green areas for children to run and play. High rise Asian living is not more appropriate for a child than it is for a cat. Japan needs to create a "suburbia" of homes with yards reserved for families with children. And Tax Laws appropriate to a Japanese procreating couple. Unapologeticly, "racist". Thus spaketh Moi
@Channe, any progress on naming a patriarchy that maintained its hold on "traditional/natural gender roles" without using violence to force women to submit?
I'd rather it were the African population that were declining. Japanese are, on the whole, much more worthwhile people.
I'm unclear why you think capitalism requires population growth. College economics was many years ago but I don't recall that.
Keeping house and caring for a husband and children does not necessarily equate with fulfilment and meaning.
I believe that is where he migrated from. Curiously he insists that 'multiculturalism,' is bad and that migrants should 'assimilate'. A fascinating double standard.
I spend my days surrounded by happy living fulfilled, meaningful lives. I suspect you don't mix much with women or you decide that you know more about how they feel than they do. That would certainly fit. My grandmother had a 'traditional gender role' after she got married. She stayed home and kept house. She was also beaten regularly. Everyone knew, nobody did anything. She had been taught that here 'role' was to put up with whatever married life entailed, so she stayed in a miserable marriage for almost 50 years. If that happened today she could leave. If that was the only improvement for women over the past 50 years it would justify the whole Feminist movement - even the crazy & stupid bits.
