    Why not throw AGW funding in there too? How about money to save turtles? The budget is to run the country not fund pet projects as the Democrats are attempting to do.

    The diversion is by dems. Hart Research Associates is a dem leaning organization, but what really matters is when the lying liberal media pays for such bogus "research," they get what they want the research to say such as Hillary is going to easily win the 2016 election.

    I just find it so strange that avoiding the shutdown is more about getting Democrats to do a procedural vote and NOT about the Republicans maintaining party unity. We talk and talk about a government shutdown bordering treasonous and yet we are somehow dependent on opposition politicians who have different ideas on how the government should be run to vote the way the governing party demands.

    If a government shutdown is treasonous, why is it put to a vote?

    The vote is not only about how much money the government is allowed to spend, but also on WHAT the government is allowed to spend the money on.

    Looks like Trump will take care of business first then relax for the weekend. Oh and Pence won't be needed for a tie breaker since Schumer and NBC said they will be blocking the House Bill.
