Just because someone of 71 years old slips and slightly injures her/himself, that doesn't mean they are ready for a wheelchair or nursing home. Such slight mishaps are not untypical for people in that age group. If you are lucky to live so long, you will understand what it is like for you and/or your contemporaries. If you are lucky enough to live so long. Statistics show that if you make it past 65, you are more likely to live a long, long life. Good luck to you and hoping people are more generous spirited with you when you're old than you are being now.

It is huge actually; I've had a hairline fracture. A break is very much worse and far more serious. A huge difference.

What an odd question. Look it up on Google. It is not anywhere near as serious. You don't need a cast, for example, and it heals much more quickly. I'm not a doctor and can't explain details. You can tell from the xray how different it is. It's not anywhere near as serious or problematic.
