I think I have a pretty good handle on the lies and innuendos: the Dossier full of Russian disinformation paid for by the Clinton campaign and used as justification for spying and wiretapping the Trump campaign.

I think that there was more reasonable cause to initiate the investigation than there is to bury it. . . . There is more reason to doubt Trump and his unsavory colleagues than there is to doubt the FBI and the Justice Department.

The plan is to discredit the investigators in order to question the final ruling. . . . As the OTHER famous showman once said: "There's a sucker born every minute."

 

Trump is trying to fool people into believing that he can't be impeached....but he will be, because his karma demands it.

 

The National Security letters isn't wiretapping, but it's damn near close enough. They had access to the phone numbers and the identities behind them. It wouldn't have taken much more to transcribe the calls(see: Flynn leaks). And those letters are long known for their abusive nature.

So yes, the President is correct, more than we anticipated on the nature of interference in an Election. But now we know that these actions were not only taken by American Actors, but greatly collaborating with UK interlopers to once again, interfere with an election.

And above all else, the evidence was either inference(Papadoulous), or greatly exaggerated/fabricated. All of which would be challenged when and if Mueller were to bring a case in criminal court against the President.

He won't, and I'm doubting he'll even write his report at this stage. His report will lead to his dismissal in the circles of Washington, and possibly his career as a prosecutor as a whole. He has far more at stake than Donald.

The worst thing that could've happened to these actors and Mueller, was the foolishness of opening up this investigation. They've put themselves into legal sharks.

And maybe the investigators aren't credible. Or don't you care? Oughtn't they be scrutinized with the same care you want for Trump? They want to impeach the President, after all. And all the information you have is provided by nameless informants, spooks, and other unsavory characters. And the innuendos are repeated ad nauseum until you believe them. ALL of your observations are purely speculative. Neither you nor I have ANY clue whether there IS truly incriminating evidence against Trump or his campaign staff, and there are so many contradictory rumors concerning the use of the dossier in the investigation. . . . All this will be explained in the final report, so there is no use arguing it now.

 

No. I want the investigation ended quickly and this cloud of rumors and innuendos dispersed. The investigation is being dragged simply out to hamper Trump. I think Mueller has nothing, for reasons I have given, so I don't fear his report. If by some miracle Mueller has something substantial, then so be it. I can live with President Pence.

I do think the shady business surrounding the Dossier, dubious unmasking of Trump functionaries, and the insinuation of paid informants into the Trump circle as well as the whitewash of Clinton server scandal by Comey bears further investigation. If the FBI did no wrong, what do they have to fear? Their slow walking and resistance to releasing pertinent documents to Congress looks guilty to me.
