After threatening to destroy the United States for 70 years, Trump managed in three days to make NK a friendly nation: http://time.com/5310807/trump-north-korea-threat/ The worst thing is that Trumpists - who absolutely swallow everything Trump says - will believe that Kim is destroying right now his warheads...
Kim threatened to use nukes at any moment, demonstrating an expanding delivery system at the same time. Hawaii, Guam, South Korea, and Japan, have been operating with increased drills and announcements in light of that threat. Having met with Kim, wouldn't it be fair to say that immediate threat has been removed, and a path to a different relationship has been started?
So North Korea, which still has nukes and the facilities to make more, is “no longer a nuclear threat” because of empty words at a summit.... ...but Iran is a serious threat even after they demolished their breeder reactor, destroyed tens of thousands of centrifuges, gave up tons of enriched uranium, and allowed in inspectors?
Talking about hypocrisy: https://www.vox.com/2015/4/6/835399...ama-is-like-neville-chamberlain-they-said-the
Trump is the president of the USA who worked the hardest for peace of the two last decades, for all what he did in Lybia and Syria, the peace nobel prize of Obama should be removed and awarded to Trump.
So what inspections did North Korea agree to? What’s the timeline for their dismantling process? What concrete steps have they agreed to take? And you might want to talk to Japan about North Korea not having any terrorists.
A great peacemaker. Especialy on Twitter. If he hadn't f*** so much pornstar, he would have made an excellent pope.
got to be ****ing kidding me. no detailed agreement. no detailed commitments. no promise to allow American or NATO inspectors. no promise to get rid of all nuclear weapons and never develop again. and Trump criticizes the Iran deal!!!!!!!!!!!
Realy ? So you think their hackers are harmless? https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...f-north-koreas-hacking-strategy-idUSKBN1EF28F
Yes it is. "Just landed - a long trip, but everybody can now feel much safer than the day I took office. There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea. Meeting with Kim Jong Un was an interesting and very positive experience. North Korea has great potential for the future!" With no communication, and threats and counter threats being thrown back and forth, NK made it clear they were armed and wouldn't hesitate to destroy. Put a bunch of Nations on high alert as a result. Ask a Hawaiian what it was like when a false alarm was sounded. Now having met with Kim, do you think that same level of anxiety and concern should exist? Or are you trying to sell a story that suggests Trump is saying NK destroyed their nukes and their threat has been eliminated forever? If so, tell me where in the words above that is suggested, or even claimed.
“If I can save millions of lives by coming here, sitting down, and establishing a relationship with someone who’s a very powerful man — who’s got firm control of a country and that country has very powerful nuclear weapons — it’s my honor to do it....Anyone can make war, but only the most courageous can make peace.” ~ Trump
Exactly. And the right would tear Obama to pieces. And look what happened - the same action is praised or criticized depending on which politician did it. What it shows? Both left and right are morons, and since most Americans belong to left to to right - what is the conclusion?
How can that sentiment be argued with? Well, you know what I mean. Who knew the left now embraces nuclear war? I need a new program, they keep changing the plot by the hour.
Uhh...you two are arguing around each other. You asked, "wouldn't it be fair to say that immediate threat has been removed, and a path to a different relationship has been started?" to which @Arkanis said, "That's not what Trump said." You replied by claiming that he did and then you quoted the OP wherein Trump said, "There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea." So no, Trump did not make the claim that you said he did. And yes, no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea does imply that North Korea would no longer have the ability to destroy anyone with a nuclear weapon.
He's already enjoyed measurable success hasn't he? Where's the praise? When did N. Korea fire it's last ICBM? Weren't 3 hostages returned in good health? Even if you're shamed into acknowledging Trumps progress in N. Korea, you'll bash him on other topics alleging he's corrupt, incompetent, or both. Tariffs bad, tax cuts bad, immigration policy bad ... no matter how much evidence to the contrary presents itself. Am'I'right ...
