Uh duh!!! You cannot successfully raise a child if, you are still a child yourself, a single parent, on public assistance. That failure increases exponentially with each additional child you have. If you cannot afford children you absolutely should not have any otherwise your children become someone else's problem.

MS St Louis before WWII around 900 Jewish Refugees arrived off the coast of Florida after being turned away from Cuba. We decided to turn them away even though we were their last option. Thus they were forced to go back to Germany where their papers were issued from. Not one survived to the end of the war, men women and children gassed in the showers because Roosevelt and Hull refused to help. That kind of thing should not happen. We are strong enough and prosperous enough to insure it does not happen. We dont have too, it is not our responsibility, heck it probably does not even benefit us economically. But there is the right thing to do and the wrong thing to do.

I am one of the first people to stand up and say there are no free rides, that we need to secure our boarders, and that if you sneak across you are breaking our laws and need to face the consequences. BUT I will not look you in the eyes and say I a am a devoted Christian and that we should close our doors to refugees in need. Our hand should be out to our fellow man when he has no other place to turn. Now I have no problem monitoring them, I have no problem with sending them home when their countries are safe. But to send many of these people back is to condemn them to death. Screw that, this is America not some fascist hellhole that claims to care for people and then turns a blind eye to the world.

 

If a kids parent is doing so etching illegal and is going to jail what are your choices? If you do not not seethe family then you will be putting kids in jail. Is this what you want? The parents are the guilty party here let's not forget that, they made the decision to break the law. The parents are the ones forcing us to put them in jail. The only other solution would be zero boarder enforcement and granting citizenship to everyone, and I and not ok with that.

This may sound bad but I truly do not care about them. Stay and make your country livable. We simply do not have the resources and money to continue to let people into this country that have no skills that will allow them to succeed here.

These people have no legal right to be here. As long as we don't shoot them, I'm ok with whatever trauma they have to endure.
