Trump parading "victims of illegal immigrants"

Was that supposed to be witty? Granting reasonable asylum requests, more not less, brings everyone (or most at an age where they are more likely to be successful if approved) into the system.

Being illegal makes sure they are outside of our system. How do you think potentially bad illegal aliens would fare inside our system as citizens?

Trump already knows that the Dems launched an all out assault with this topic, and it hasn't worked. The Dems will not take back the Senate.

Trump should thank Cynthia Nixon for stating that ICE agents are nothing but a bunch of terrorists. It captured the late news cycle.

Trump even went as far as to tell Congress to wait on the immigration issue until after the mid-terms. Now watch Paul Ryan scramble to try to resurrect another phony piece of legislation before he leaves.

 

It has decreased 20% each of Trump's first two years (current being an estimate and likely much lower). Trump is cutting it off at a time when the violence is highest. It should be higher than it was under Obama.

 

It is impossible to get numbers on the first two items in red above that actually mean anything because they are looking at convictions, not crimes committed. It is easy for illegal aliens who commit crimes to avoid capture and prosecution. How many of our unsolved murders, robberies, and rapes have been committed by illegal aliens who continually sneak back and forth across the border? My bet is plenty.

For the third item in red, that would be difficult to determine also. How would one go about determining a definitive number of illegals in an area in the first place? And if we can determine that, why haven't they been deported?

What should be higher?

 

Angel mom's ... and dad's, is a grassroots political action group. They were the driving force behind "Kates law". These victims shouldn't be silenced, but the media ignores them entirely. Border security, and sanctuary policies are the core issues, and liberals along with media work tirelessly to portray that our porous borders, and lax enforcement shouldn't concern anyone. Personal, factual testimonials are not propaganda. Stop smearing these victims, and the president who's allowing them to have a voice in immigration reform. What have you, or any open border advocate had to sacrifice in order to be heard? Check your privilege please.

Perhaps the greatest mystery for the socialist/Progressive/Democrat hate Trump crowd is understanding you're in your own bubble. You're a guitar that plays itself, prompted by the band that controls it.

 

Why so much left wing sympathy for criminal invaders, and none for the American victims of these criminal invaders. Please explain that.

Liberals just hate it when the opposition uses their tactics and win. You can't keep painting over these things, they are happening to American citizens by foreign criminals. If these things were happening to illegals by Americans you liberals would be blubbering and your little bleeding hearts would be broken.

 

I don't deny some folks have been killed by illegal aliens. I also don't deny that Americans have been killed by American citizens. Our prisons are overrun with them. This "foreign criminals, murderers, and rapists rant is just more propaganda to feed a heaping helping of hate to Trump's base.

Of course, if I had the unmitigated gall to question Trump or his minions I would be immediately branded as someone that loves illegals, yearns for open borders, alt-left, a bleeding heart liberal, a socialist, a communist, and a purveyor of bad breath. Sorry, I'm just not stupid enough to swallow Trump's BS hook, line, and sinker.

We only get 60k asylum applications per year. They are looking for a better life and are hard working. They are a net benefit, especially when we are at max employment.

Take a step back, and consider the logic of your last sentence.

If the country is at max employment, who is going to provide this better life for those who actually qualify for asylum?

 

It is difficult to maintain logic with appeals to emotion.

 

They will, as employers will welcome the new employees. The only ones opposed will be businesses who abuse illegal immigrant labor.

 

60K you say? So The other 100's of thousands of border jumpers are rightfully subject to arrest and detention. I think we should have a mechanism to immediately deport non asylum seekers and thereby eliminate US detention altogether. Let the UN set up refugee camps for South & Central American refugees ... in Mexico. It's a humanitarian crisis right?
