Perhaps Trump made the actually respectable move of replacing a swing judge with a swing judge.

Amy Coney Barrett was never really in the running. Rather, she was a diversion for the leftwing to furiously rant about - specifically the Democratic Party's fanatical hatred of Christians including Catholics. Her lack of experience as a judge made her a no-go, but the Democratic ranting talking heads of the MSM can NEVER resist any bait Trump puts out for them to take - plus it is a Democratic Party loyalty acid test to publicly attack any and all Christians as rabidly and hatefully as possible.

Not picking her now can be presented as a compromise with the Democratic Party, which his selection actually is. So he'll be confirmed and things move on.

That is how it will be presented. I can't recall President Trump promising to nominate "swing judges." Do you?

You mean like they do? Or our you just repeating the Democratic Party lie of 1.) the NRA did not allow CC at their meeting or 2.) the Democratic Party lie that the NRA opposes gun free zones? Which Democratic Party lie, exactly, are you referring?

And MSM already setting out the lies.

That he has Trumps back because he has said Presidents cannot be subject to a criminal investigation, False. He has said since he was on the Whitewater committee that Presidents cannot not be criminally indicted AND PROSECUTED while in office

"In a 2009 Minnesota Law Review article, Kavanaugh wrote, “Even in the absence of congressionally conferred immunity, a serious constitutional question exists regarding whether a president can be criminally indicted and tried while in office.” "
    https://www.law.com/nationallawjour...it-for-supreme-court/?slreturn=20180609214027

and they are trying to say that is why he is being nominated. Well that is exactly what the Starr office said with regards to President Bill Clinton, there should could be no prosecution for indictment until he is removed from office. Starr took his evidence and indictment to the Speaker of the House that the President had committed crimes and he WANTED to indict him but he would have to be removed from office first. He wasn't removed and the presentation of indictment was held off until he was leaving office where the current SP Robert Ray took the indictment to him and said here it is but we will allow you to plea bargain under these terms since you have already paid $800,000 to Jones and a$90,000 fine in Judge Wrights courtroom

Why should Trump be treated any differently. And it is settled law anyway.

I expect this guy may be reasonable as a judge. But I was wrong once. The Democrats will never be able to stop him.

The point? You missed it. You should go for impeachment BEFORE his pick gets seated. That is if you have the grounds.

Questions about indicting a sitting president...indicates he doesn’t think it’s decided law. I like.
