It's fairly obvious that the one thing millions of Americans have in common with one another is their mutual hatred for each other.

Given this, why would they want to remain in a political union? It's like staying married to someone you despise out of habit. It's irrational and ultimately self-destructive.

The only way the various factions will be reconciled with one another is if they exist under separate, independent political systems that actually represent them. America already existed under such a system between 1776 and 1788 and it really wasn't as bad as its opponents claimed.

In my lifetime I don't recall people getting beaten up because of the candidate they support. In my lifetime I don't recall people rioting because of who was elected president in this country. In my lifetime I don't recall groups like ANTIFA being violent towards another political group for the sake of being violent. In my lifetime I don't recall people calling those they disagree with racists, traitors, snowflakes, etc until social media made it safe for those people to do so hiding behind a computer screen.
Even many comics have said they won't do colleges anymore because of how PC campuses have become. They USED to love doing college tours but won't now.
I'm not saying life was rainbows and puppy dogs in the past, but in general we were much more civil towards each other when we disagreed.
But we can agree to disagree.

And how do you propose we 'eradicate' people who don't support the constitution or our borders?

Nothing tops the Civil War.Vietnam wasn't even close.
There was more than one Civil War Battle that killed more
than in the entirety of the Vietnam war.
Battle of Gettysburg where OVER 50,ooo casualities and wounded.
Battle of Antietam saw over 23,ooo casualties in a single day.
    Battle of Chickamauga { 34,700 in 2 days }.

When was the last time you heard the Supremes block a secession ballot initiative Margot? You say it's been going on for years.......what State or states?

Do you think that when the constitution was written it was to promote government over citizen? Government chooses ballot initiatives and not the people?

I've lived in red states and blue states and liked them both. They're different from one another but both generally reflect the beliefs and mores of the people residing within their regions. Red states are cool, blue states are interesting. The problem comes when red or blue thinks the other guys are wrong (stupid, unAmerican, traitors, etc.) and why can't they wise up and do it our way?

Generally, I wouldn't go pheasant hunting with a New Yorker and wouldn't spend a day at a museum of modern art with an Oklahoman. Respecting the other guy goes a long way. You might even find the other guy interesting and nice. I've lived in Los Angeles, California and Lemon, South Dakota. LA was awesome and Lemon was free, fun, and crazy. Would I like to live in Lemon - too damn cold. LA - too damn crowded.

My point is, we are already divided along regional and social lines. Stop trying to push them together. It ain't gonna' happen. Relax and have another beer.

What state and what Supreme Margot? Or are you just flapping your gums?

This is different, the State of CA no longer exist for the people, the people exist for government.

I remember how bat **** crazy you went with the Bundy's, how did that turn out for you and your predictions.

I will ask one more time...

When the constitution was written was it written for the people and restrict government or was it written to restrict the people it governed?

As long as a sizable portion of the population believes in bullshyte like that effective self governance will continue to prove to be extremely challenging.

You mean because the Bundys didn't pay their grazing fees and over grazed public lands?

So if you are lucky to make it to 100 years old,
that reply { lifetime } would be considered moot.?

The Bundy's were a target of Harry Reid to both demonstrate how he
can flex his muscles and also to intimidate what Reid was attempting.
To set up shop for Foreigners like China to make inroads in
the United States as places to take over.

I don't know about doomed, but I generally concur with you. I'd like to see the US split into the Democratic States of America and the Republican States of America. Neither group want to be under the thumb of the other group. But it will probably never happen.

I see no answer. Society have moved farther apart as time goes on. The reason the 2 groups got along back in the day was they were not that far apart in ideology. The dems decided to make a grab for all the outcasts to form their base. And now that base looks like the future of the US.

Conservative views are no longer popular in the US. Hopefully Trump can stack SCOTUS in the reps favor to keep the country from turning into Mexico. SCOTUS will be the last line of defense once the dems take control of America.

The bottom line is neither party does little to help the average person. Too busy fighting over bullshit. I'd say the reps do the least, but the reps try to preserve conservative values while they support big biz. So that is why I support the reps...conservative views of not confiscating the guns, not taking down the borders and turning America into Mexico, not force feeding the homosexual agenda down everyone throat, not supporting the mass murder of tens of millions of children and legalized doping of America.

The think the reign of the robots, overpopulation and the decomposition of society / America under dem rule will be our downfall.

What does that have to do with their grazing fees or overgrazing public lands?

So you are calling to kill your political opponents. What a surprise.

Do you want to kill them yourself?

I'd appreciate an answer so I'll know if I should turn this over to the FBI.

either vote them out peacefully or summarily remove them from within our border through the eventual civil war.

    We are doomed.

We're coming apart at the seams. But it won't hit the fan until you and I are long gone.

You don't eradicate people by voting. If it happens again we will let the FBI decide if it's a threat.
