Direct attacks, or just foster the attacks by others?

I don't believe an ambassador having to be questioned would make all other persons never want to take an ambassadorship. I wouldn't have a problem personally with being questioned if I was in that situation.

Who cares what Putin did. What he did was to set Trump up, and Trump the fool fell for it. Putin is a dictator and Trump is not one---yet. We don't cheerfully send our intelligence people to Russia to be grilled by Putin's lackeys. How we gather intelligence is none of his business and maybe somebody's life may be jeopardized due to an interrogation.

Yes, the first one, the one he didn't mean.

Mutual cooperation between nations? And who knows, a few hours in Putin's custody being questioned might improve Smirky Strzok's attitude a great deal. And in exchange, Mueller gets to question some of the 12 Russians he indicted. Aren't you eager for Mueller to get this access seeing as how you view these Russians as a great threat to our democracy, even though the Obama Administration concealed the hacking for months, from both the DNC and their own Homeland Security?

Oh, we're supposed to levy sanctions on Russia, lecture them about their conduct, and demand that they provide us answers to any and all questions or accusations that we make against them (so far, with NO proof offered to the American people) -- BUT -- the Russians aren't supposed to request information from us about a man who was a big part of the 'raping and pillaging' of the newly-born Russian Federation after the fall of the old Soviet Union -- right?!

You on the Left seem absolutely hell-bent on whipping your anti-Russia hysteria into an ever-greater likelihood of hostilities. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR. Today, we can still win a war of the kind you seem to anxious to promote -- but in another five or ten years there's no guarantee of that 'victory'.

Hint: In too many ways, the United States has been on a downhill slide ever since 9/11, while Russia (and China) have become vastly more powerful during the same time period. Again, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR -- especially if you blithely deny all of it and carry on as the privileged-class of HYPOCRITES that you are....

While they didn't invent the word he corrected, they worked hard to ignore everything else he said, which made that word irrelevant.

Trump was gushing with joy at the proposal instead of just ignoring it or saying no. A wise leader doesn't allow himself to be maneuvered
and dismisses preposterous suggestions without any discussion or reservation. Preposterous suggestions are treated as they are.

Why? Last time they showed up voluntarily and Mueller ran away.

Former Ambassador McFaul is guilty if pillaging the newly born Russian Federation? Uh no he isn’t. He is guilty of calling out Vladimir Putins humanitarian crimes. That is what Putin is. A criminal.

That's right, and weren't Lefties, just yesterday, telling us what tremendous threat to democracy these 12 Russians are, and now suddenly Mueller doesn't even want to talk to them? How Odd!

White House Weighing Putin Request to Interrogate Americans Linked to Browder

Strzok is still a US intelligence asset, Trump should assign him to go to Moscow to be interviewed by Putin. And we will see how Smirky Strzok is while in Russian custody.

Of course, and that won't happen. Our intelligence people have not been accused
of subverting their "election." Putin eliminates his opposition.

Yeah, even more shocked that you were yesterday - which was the most shocked you'd ever been in your life since the day before yesterday, but not as shocked as you will be tomorrow.:roflol:

A wise leader doesn't dismiss anything out of hand. A child screams and tells someone to screw off.

That's why children make poor negotiators.

William Felix Browder (born 23 April 1964)[1] is an American-born British financier. He is the CEO and co-founder of Hermitage Capital Management, an investment fundthat at one time was the largest foreign portfolio investor in Russia. He gave up his U.S. citizenship in 1998 to avoid paying taxes related to foreign investment.

In 2013, Browder was tried in absentia in Russia for tax fraud, jointly in a posthumous prosecution of Magnitsky. He was convicted and sentenced to nine years in prison. Interpol rejected Russian requests to arrest Browder, saying the case was political.

The misstatements were Trump's and his alone for all to hear. The free press, including Fox news, are simply holding him accountable
    and thank goodness.

Handing over an Ambassador for interrogations is non negotiable.

    I would think it is.

Other than the song the left's media is playing for it's followers, who has agreed to such a proposal?

A wise leader dismisses the obvious and doesn't gush when silly proposals are offered to him. A wise leader can think on his feet and we don't have one of those at the helm of our ship.

The fact is that he met alone with Putin. That word was completely relevant since he was throwing our intelligence community under the bus, the same people that he appointed. His words were painfully obvious.

Riiiiight. You ignore their history of "discovering crimes" such people "committed" and then throw them in prison where they strangely die.

Extraditing anyone to Russia for "questioning" is ABSURD!! Anyone who considers it is not an American patriot. So either a person is an American patriot or a republican.

More moral equivalence with Russia lol
They already convicted Browder. What could they possibly need to talk to him about? Russia regularly murders people! Including browders tax auditor magintsky. There is NO comparison!

It’s not an interesting proposal either!
