No doubt MSM has contributed to the political division in this nation. For whatever reason, and there are probably a mixture of reasons. What "sells" in MSM and get viewers for advertisers, all corporations is a factor. The official stories that our gov't wants to promote in their own interests is a factor, and even what Intel wants to do with disinfo is involved. Then of course there is the political partisanship of the talking heads, which is a factor as well. This would all be fixed if only genuine journalism would prevail, with standards, and real journalists were hired. But real journalism is apparently not wanted, for perhaps it would not be as profitable for the corporations, and Intel and even our own gov't does not want that either. We used to have journalists investigating the corruption and criminality within gov't, but you don't see much of that anymore.

There is little doubt that what serves the self interests of the global elites is damaging to many other non elites. And journalists could not care less about this issue either. There is so much that is no longer looked at by journalism, and if they do, it is hard to get MSM to give you air time, and in many cases such journalists are simply blacked out in MSM.

Of course what the globalists want is not sustainable, and sooner or later some kind of revolution will erupt, just from the economic suffering of far too many people. Our safety nets cannot afford, the nation cannot afford where globalism leads...more welfare spending, which is not sustainable either.

Globalism seeks to lowest possible wages for those that do the labor, and this is not what creates middle classes. It only maxes out the wealth at the top, and this will at some point implode in violence. I think history evidences this, and yet the elites always develop amnesia of the past and what happens when they demand to max out their own profits, but at a cost. Human nature is much more powerful than anything else, and because of an unchanging human nature, all of this is predictable. It is why history repeats, or at least rhymes.
