The death penalty.

I am usually against the death penalty because of the arbitrary nature of the court system, but as I dig into some cases I see people that need to be put down.

For the record my family has been touched by violence. My father was killed during a robbery. The shooter got 27 years no parole. I feel fine about that verdict.

 

There are some people who have earned a slow painful death, and I would love to know they got their due. However, we have already killed lots of people, only to find too late that they were innocent. Until we can figure out how to be 100% accurate, I would prefer locking them away for life instead of taking the chance of killing the wrong person.

So many of our problems would be solved or dramatically reduced if we expanded the number of crimes that qualify for the death penalty and streamline the process to make it happen within a few months.

Qualifying crimes would include:

Murder

Treason

Human and drug trafficking

Illegal criminal invasions

Pedophilia

Mass media companies spreading communist/ cultural marxist propaganda

And abortion (redundant applies to murder)

I don't think so dude. Drugs will eventually be legalized in most cases and there's nothing wrong with abortion

I'm rather scornfull toward death penalty abolishment, in my country it led toward laxism. I would never put on the same level the life of an innocent and the one of a criminal. A judicial systeme without death penalty who let free a murderer and that man commit murder against without death penalty is more scornfull of life than a judicial system who put down a monster.

I think that if there's substantial evidence that someone has committed a terrible injustice then the death penalty is necessary.

 

I'd be willing to settle for this if it is paired with extensive Federal investigations into all of these people in the mass media and Hollywood to root out and eliminate the pedophiles because we all know they have a long history of pedophilia in this industry.

Break them up with anti-monopoly laws and bring the Perverts to Justice. I'd be okay with that.

 

In my opinion, Scandinavian Penal System is much better then US Penal System.

I oppose Communism, but Socialism works well in Scandinavia.

Scandinavia are extremly rich and homogeneous countries. They can afford to care a lot of criminals because they have few of them. It can't work for a country like USA who as a relatively massive criminality.
So yes, in a wonderfull world where there would be a lot of money and few criminals, you could afford to treat most criminals as sick people, that's beautifull, but that's against the economical reality of most countries.

I think, and I know that people are often scandalized by that, but I think that the chinese penal system is rather fine, they don't have a lot of homicids, I have no idea for their criminality rate.

I think that the justice has to be extremly harsh to be "too" harsh.
