Just like a Republican. Never take responsibility, blame it on the Democrats.

I have read at least two biographies on every president champ. Any time a Republucan screws the pooch they blame it on the Democrats. Never changes.

    LOL!

The same holds true for the Democrats. Never chances.

I blame Bush for the economic crisis of 2008. Of course the Democrats were as much to blame as bush, but Bush was the President at the time so it was his responsibility. If only the government had not tried to save the situation by giving billions of dollars to these big stupid banks the situation would have taken care of itself. The only institution that was critical was the insurance industry, not, repeat, not the big banks. The government should have let them fail.

Trump haters and people who actually want to stop illegal immigration. Apparently, that doesn't include you.

You probably couldn't name the four gospels, but you'd be in good company since over half of professed xtians can't, either.

Man up. Point out Trump is a lying, tub-of-goo crook whose wife was an illegal before he used his money to fix her status.
The relevance to Cruz acting like a whiny wuss?

A few thousand cases when there are millions working away....

No wonder the working guy is getting screwed over--he falls for guys like Trump.

I made $3.05/hour in 1963 ($24.33 in 2018), double time on Sunday, because I was in the Retail Clerk's Union. Suth'n fried employers have screwed that one up.

When will the Bloviator-in-Chief actually stand up for the average guy? Real wages have dropped since he took office.

The gubermint would have had to take them over, recapitalize them, and sell them off. Letting them fail doesn't mean having them shut their doors. The economy would have collapsed.

I did not buy your contention that Cruz underestimated how good of a president Trump is or turned out to be.

That is just too ridiculous a contention to even consider...even in jest.

Do you know how many books have been written about the Great Depression?

I remember another well quoted American President who famously said...The Buck stops here.

You and Trump love passing the buck.

    I find it quite believable.

Trump is a much better POTUS than I thought he would be.

In fact, Trump is a much better POTUS than Democrats are willing to admit.

    * America has historically record high employment
    * America's economy is booming.
    * 95+% of the Caliphate is gone. ISIS is all but eliminated.
    * Toughest sanctions on Russia, Norks, and Iran ever, or at least the last few decades.
    * Manufacturing jobs coming back to America.
    * Historic highs in America confidence and American small business confidence.

Did you expect that, or did you underestimate Trump as POTUS too?

I'm new here, so if you predicted all of this, please let me know when.

That person who said, "the buck stops here" also said, "you can't get rich in politics unless you are a crook".

And, no, I do not like passing the buck. Whether rightfully or not, Hoover is to blame for the great depression. He was sitting behind the big desk at the time so it is on him. The destruction of American over the last eight years of Obama belongs to Obama and no one else...no matter how much y'all complain about Bush.

I have one quick question: What the hell was this thread about in the first place?

I agree. I voted for Trump, not because I thought he was right for the job, but because the other choice was Hillary Clinton. I have been pleasantly surprised at what he has got done to bring America back.

The economy would not have collapsed. The only true key to continuation of the economy was the insurance industry, not banking. You are wrong.

I'm calling BS on that $3.05 job in 1963.

One of the more amusing farces of the Fall Follies will be in the “Don’t it turn my red eyes blue” state when Lyin’ Don rallies the rabble for Lyin’ Ted.

In the next two months, billionaires and multi-millionaires around the country will be opening their bloated wallets for Rafael “Carnival” Cruz, a foreign-born carpetbagger that does their bidding in Washington. Much of that payoff will fuel the dung blitz directed at Robert “Beto” O’Rourke whose campaign is well-funded by fellow native Texans.

Given the way Trump generously bestowed jumbo helpings of his projectile diarrhea upon Carnival during the GOP presidential primaries Beto might do well to merely repeat Lyin’ Don’s own effusive testimonials.

From his "Turds of Gold" Collection:

[IMG] Cruz is “worse than Hillary!”

[IMG] “How can Ted Cruz be an Evangelical Christian when he lies so much and is so dishonest?”

[IMG] “You are the single biggest liar! You probably are worse than Jeb Bush!”

[IMG] “Nasty guy! Now I know why he doesn’t have one endorsement from any of his colleagues.”

[IMG] “Lyin’ Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a G.Q. shoot in his ad. (Another Trump lie. He hadn’t.) Be careful, Lyin’ Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!”
To be sure, Lyin’ Don’s encomiums have been effusively reciprocated by Carnival:

[IMG] “Real men don’t attack women!”

[IMG] “Donald, you’re a sniveling coward!... It is not acceptable for a big, loud New York bully to attack my wife… But you mess with my wife, you mess with my kids, that’ll do it every time…Leave Heidi the hell alone!”

[IMG] “I am not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and attack my father!” (After Cruz declined to endorse Trump in his convention speech.)

[IMG] “Donald Trump’s consistently disgraceful behavior is beneath the office we are seeking!”

[IMG] “This man is a pathological liar. He doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth, and in a pattern that I think is straight out of a psychology text book, his response is to accuse everybody else of lying,… The man cannot tell the truth, but he combines it with being a narcissist—a narcissist at a level I don’t think this country’s ever seen. Donald Trump is such a narcissist that Barack Obama looks at him and goes, ‘Dude, what’s your problem?'”

[IMG] “The man is utterly amoral. Morality does not exist for him!… Donald is a bully. … Bullies come from a deep, yawning cavern of insecurity.”

    "Oh yeah! Oh yeah!
    Well whaddabout Obama sayin' Hillary
    was 'likable enough'? Huh? Huh?"

Well, I can actually I just don’t see how that’s relevant. You cannot assert that an imaginary place exists, then defend said mythical reference by getting fussy with me. I’m not the one making hilarious claims, if we remember.

Unlikely. Even with younger, better-educated, more diverse Americans migrating to urban centers, Texas' progress will take until 2020,
but the nativists rallying around their foreign-born Trump vilifier who has been viciously smeared by Trump are weeing their frillies.

Upon reflection, I would recommend that Lyin' Ted and Lyin' Don's comments regarding one another be presented as an antiphonal medley of alternating effusions - with Sonny and Cher's "I've Got You, Babe!" playing in the background.

One Poll has Beto within 2 another poll has Cruz up by 6. In the end the Provincial Ballots will fall Cruz's way.

Its taking the left all they have just to keep Beto in the game. The Lame Stream got the word, pump up the favorables on Beto.

You know the leftness is desperate when resorting to Trump and Cruz calling each other out. Old news, yeah man we got that old news for ya. Let us know when Cruz and Beto start the namecallin. KnowWhatIMean.
