Lying down on the freeway isn't consent to being hit by a truck, but since we know that could happen, we don't lie down on the freeway. Your arguments (yours and FHs) are become feebler and feebler.
None of this is really about poverty, that's just another of many in a long line of smokescreens. What I think this is REALLY about is vanity. Having a big bump on your belly has a tendency to interfere with the woman's sex life.
I'd wager that 80% of abortion 'customers' proceed from the clinic to a fast food outlet. Some might even get another tattoo. THEN they'll wail about the great impost of the abortion bill which they could 'barely afford'.
How would you know? In fact, you don't know because it doesn't How many times does it take to inform you that women do NOT need an excuse to get an abortion, they can just have them without your permission for any reason they choose...
Don't play games, your side doesn't believe in personal choice when it comes to a whole host of different issues. But suddenly you get all outraged when it has to do with anything that would infringe on your sex lives.
And I would wager you are wrong Want to go toe to toe with me on stats because so far you are on a hiding to nothing What is evident is a poor opinion of women
Not always There will always be those cases where it is required for medical reasons But when you look at the correlation between poverty and abortion then yes you could say it is true
Ahhhhh! But most patients self fund I always think this American idea of "let everyone pay for health care themselves" is a highly selfish one.
Says the person who started a thread talking about how women can't afford $100 a year for birth control. Selfish? Would you like to send me $150 a month so I can buy groceries? That's a pretty minor ask, wouldn't you agree?
This isn't about a "whole host of issues" this is about women retaining the right to their own bodies. Duh , abortion does not infringe on anyone's sex life. Even pregnant women's which YOU think it does Here's the embarrassing part you had to cherry pick out of my post : (in response to you thinking pregnant women don't have sex ) """"How would you know? In fact, you don't know because it doesn't """
I suppose she could always try to ration it. Hold back a little bit. But yeah, if she expects to have a mind-blowing orgasm every night of the week, $100 isn't going to cut it.
In that case, poverty is probably not really a justification for why they want to get an abortion. If they're poor now, chances are they'll be poor 6 years from now.
