No liberal politician or citizen wants open borders in my view. They and true Republicans have always had empathy and compassion for the plight of the oppressed and poverty-stricken. Do they want open borders? Absolutely not, except for the extremists. Arriving at a solution without dumping them or separating them from their children is the issue. I know that Trump and his flock don't care and he refers to them as rapists and criminals which is "fake." We need a way to separate the rapists and other criminals from the refugees.
There has to be a way to discern who the bad seeds are. It will take money and personnel for sure.

If Obamacare had been defeated with GOP plan to cover preexisting conditions, which the GOP has no idea how to deal with, the public including many of Trumps supporters would be livid and left with no insurance. Politically it would have doomed you guys. It would have cost many lives, which you don’t care about, but if it were your health, , you’d be some PDd.

Just imagine if the GOP got exactly what they wanted and privatized Medicare tomorrow with no preexisting conditions mandate. Millions of seniors would be dead in a couple of years.....your voters would die off.
GOP can’t run the economy and healthcare hurts their brain.

Liberals on the other hand want to expand Medicaid to include everyone and that would be an even bigger boondoggle than obamacare
