Ah, the mirror approach again... In the progressive regulatory model, it does make it necessary to obtain "permission" for things, huh? Like driving. Must have a license. Marriage. Must have a license... But this is your bridge too far? This?
Yes ... it's REALLY hard to rationally argue against ain't it? On one hand you have progressives dictating preventitive medicine mandates, and the on the other those like you who'll refuse to accept the logical application. Blood letting and leeching was practiced for millennia too. Why are you against modern preventitive medicine? I mean, why should your son be allowed to infect my daughter with his sperm?
This seems to be the bridge too far for liberals. It's as if, suddenly, they remember that they don't want a large intrusive government...... Shocking. Ask progressive folks what they think about applying their normative regulatory process to this. Forced inoculations, perfectly fine. but this? Too much intrusion.
Go back a few ... I had my daughter on contraceptives prior to giving permission to date. Also required she be insured to drive my car. Pro choicers are frustrated that the "bible thumping" oppresser meme does't hold water, or bring out the voter support it used to. I would absolutely support including intravenous contraceptives in vaccination requirements. There are zero economic or moral objections to be overcome. We vaccinate our kids like it or not.
FoxHastings said: ↑ Baloney! Most Pro-Choicers believe all contraceptives should be covered by all health insurance. Anti-Choicers don't. .Oh, this old crap about immunizations. Immunizations prevent massive outbreaks of illness that AFFECT society, affect OTHER people. Abortion does not affect society in a negative way....(it actually benefits society by not having so many unwanted/poor kids.....) Abortion has been around for thousands of years and has not affected society in a negative way. Sorry you couldn't address what I posted. I couldn't make heads or tails of that rambling incoherent diatribe.
You agree that government can force you to be inoculated, right? Again, this becomes the bridge too far? Seriously?
THE TOPIC: """"""""""The notion that science supports pro abortion folks is a lie. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/a...s_pro-science.html?utm_campaign=notifications Every new human being begins at conception and is a human being from that point forward. No question! It is time to stop the fraudulent marketing perpetrated by the so called pro choice crowd.""""""""""
Blathering ranting screed could have been entirely replaced with a simple no, you are NOT prepared to pay the additional taxes in order to reduce abortions by 40%. Got it!
Still laughing to hard over most of it. Liked the "prevent massive outbreaks" A LOT. Let's compare #'s on polio -vs- teen pregnancy. Or tell me how every US child affords vaccination now? Never mind those evil non vaccs loons, you've already plowed over.
I am prepared to watch the pro choicers squirm and writhe when confronted with their own positions. Unwanted pregnancy IS a womens health issue, and one of critical proportion. Abortion is the surgical remedy for the affliction. Emphasis needs to be focused on prevention, through vaccination, as IS the law. There are no economic barriers to any manditory vaccinations. Go ahead and turn yourself inside out trying to deny the obvious ... some people sadistically promote barbaric primitive medical procedures.
Your disingenuous claim to support abortion is patently fallacious given that meaningless drivel. The vast majority of abortions occur in the 1st trimester and are induced via MEDICATION. But don't let actual FACTS stop you from posting that kind of blather because it is highly amusing.
More fits of laughter ... and thank you for that. I only EVER condemned late term and partial birth procedures ... still do ... still don't support a ban ... just defunding. Fact: abortion causes death. The deaths are preventable. Vaccinations can ease human suffering, and nearly eliminate uwanted pregnancies. But I'm sure human sacrifice has an upside beyond enriching the abortion industry. So tell me what you find most appealing?
What is wrong with waiting until you are married? Nice of you to not answer the question that was asked.
So most woman choose to end the child's life early before they can become to emotionally attached. Maybe they should have just been more responsible in the first place and made sure they had safe sex.
It is much cheaper for the female to have safe sex then to spend $1,000 dollars on this nonsense. It's called being responsible. If you gave unsafe sex and get pregnant it's your fault and not the child's so quit punishing the child.
It's always easy to talk about abortions until you get pregnant then it's a much harder decision to pull the plug and end the child's precious life. I understand this would be hard to talk about if you have kids because aborting them is just something you could never do since you already have them but just think about how your life and their lives would be had you decided to abort them? If you don't have any kids and have never had to abort them then it is easier said then done if you are every actually faced with this decision.
So the babies do not have a right to their own body just because someone chooses to be irresponsible and have unsafe sex? That sounds like a bad deal for the baby. At what stage do you think killing a baby is not ok?
No, and I never said that. Fetuses do NOT have a right to their own body since they aren't BORN persons and so have no rights. It's never OK to kill a baby. It is OK to kill a fetus up to viability (23 weeks), after that abortion is done only if the life/health of the woman or fetus is in jeopardy. That limitation (23 weeks/viability) is fine with me because mentally healthy women abort long before that date. And I think it's a bad deal for a BABY to be born to someone who didn't want it and/or can't afford it...
There is NO "child" in abortion. You think it's a woman's "fault" for getting pregnant so want to punish THEM by forcing them to gestate...that's ridiculous..
All the "shoulds" in the world will NOT change human nature...humans have sex, have always had sex and will continue to have sex whether responsibly or not...
