Are we alone in the Universe?? Is Donald Trump the President?? I think earth is very unuique.. No one in the Universe does worse better than us We have the master of disaster in charge
Trumps brain is an alien.. it visits from outerspace through his tweets.. Maybe he can be denied entry to humanity
Maybe that is what they are doing as the object is moving away from the earth heading towards the outer edge of the solar system at 70,000 mph.
I think we can assume that advanced Alien lifeforms would probably have some form of gender. There equivalent females would rule of course like on earth and as such they would have women drivers. It's actually how we're going to defeat the alien attack with a no entry sign, a roundabout and a couple of 1 ways.
Okay... I read your link and my heart is beating like David Price's right before he sent that cutter to Machado. Look what it says here: "But after a careful mathematical analysis of the way the interstellar object sped up as it shot past the sun, they say Oumuamua could be a spacecraft pushed through space by light falling on its surface — or, as they put it in the paper, a "lightsail of artificial origin."" Project Blue Beam is that you?
I heard that this object was not traveling in a manner consistent with an object coming into our solar system and then interacting with our star. If I heard it right, that is.
Such objects always have much amounts of frozen gasses on their surface. When coming close to the sun they eject jets of that which speeds them up.
I don"t know about this story but I would't poo poo on the idea that there have been some very strange objects zipping around for decades and longer that can perform aeronautic feats impossible by any tech we can even conceive of. I know people mock all this and some accounts deservedly so......... but still.......don't kid yourself there is nothing going on. Even the armed forces and intelligence communities know there is something in the air and it ain't just pot.
I always said that Striped is best. For once we agree (this mustn't happen too often though, agreed?).
Hilarious, and on a serious note - to think there are people who believe crap like that: there are a few of them on the Science forum!
I believe alien life is already here on earth all around and including us. Arriving during the great bombardment period piggy backed on a meteor/comet and probably arriving more than once. We and all life on this planet are the aliens. When we find evidence of extinct life on Mars and actual life on Europa this will be confirmed, life will be everywhere it can be in our own solar system and rather boringly life will be extremely common all over the universe. It's very possible Mars still has life I would not be surprised also some comets.
If alien life is already here why are we still so wilfully stupid? Assuming, of course, aliens are intelligent?
And that's extremely ethnocentric. Do G-Class stars support life? Um, this one does. Our Sun is a G-Class star. Because of the mass of G- and K-Class stars, it's highly likely all G/K-Class stars have both terrestrial and gaseous planets. There are over 10,000 G/K-Class stars within 50 light years of Earth, all in our own Galaxy. The majority formed about the same time as our Sun, some a little earlier, and some a little later. Note that in the history of its existence, SETI has never once pointed its telescopes at any of those stars. Intelligent species wouldn't necessarily be looking for Humans, and it's folly to believe they would. They would most likely simply surveying other solar systems that might actually harbor life. Someones have been here a lot of times. At least four different someones, because your government type-classifies UFOs based on design, and there are (or were) four different type-classes. UFOs have scrubbed at least two nuclear weapons missions I know about. In once instance, a UFO was operating in the area between Kaiserslautern, Germany and Strasbourg, France. Ramstein AB scrambled both their primary and secondary alert aircraft. The French and Germans had aircraft tracking it, too. We could hear the tower traffic on our radios, but not what the pilots were saying, so I headed down to the commo center. On the way there, two F-18s from the Canadian air base at Lahr came screeching overhead. In the commo center, you could hear the pilots' frustration as they tried to keep up with the UFO. The UFO took off and reappeared west of Soesterberg Air Base in the Netherlands 30 seconds later heading out to the North Sea, with Dutch F-5s and US F-4s chasing after it. In case anyone was wondering, it's about 600 km from Strasbourg/Kaiserslautern to Soesterberg. Anyway, aircraft cannot launch while alert aircraft are airborne, and by the time the alert aircraft were recovered, we had blown our flight window, and the mission was scrubbed. For now, the object is being called A/2017 U1. Experts think it's less than a quarter-mile (400 meters) in diameter and it's racing through space at 15.8 miles (25.5 kilometers) per second. "Its motion could not be explained using either a normal solar system asteroid or comet orbit," he said. "This object came from outside our solar system." Um, no, that's not how it works. Celestial bodies accelerate when approaching the Sun due to gravity.
