He's right, they did hover around 9-10% until the midterms, your graph shows that itself. If you disagree with how things got there, that is fine. That is the point of a forum, but calling him names and personally attacking him because you disagree is quite childish. That is what I blame the media for, for years now instead of a conversation, you have one side yelling at the other calling them stupid/evil/racist/bigot/whatever. Would be great if people could calm down on their personal hatred and have IDW like discussoins
In the first 21 months of Trump’s Presidency, 4,054,000 jobs have been created, an average of 193,000 per month. In the preceding 21 months, when Obama was President, 4,477,000 jobs were created, an average of 213,000 per month. https://middleamericandemocrat.com/...ast-21-months-than-in-trumps-first-21-months/ Unemployment was at 4.7% at end of obamas term. From 10%. It's now at 3.7%. The chart clearly shows it is a continuation of the the trend since 2010. Look at data. I've even presented it to you. You simply are ignoring it. The 75 months of job growth, a record is well known. The tripling of the stock market is a fact.
There ya go! Was that so hard? You could have done that from the beginning instead of calling people names, neat isn't it? And simply cherry picking stats you like is no better than Trumpsters claiming he is responsible for every good thing in the economy. The economy is a VERY complicated game with tons of variables. Simply looking at a chart and saying that since it "continues" means you are right is pretty naive, borderline ignorant of economics. But again, it is a very deep conversation, I have a couple good finance forums that debate the topic at length, fascinating stuff.
The graph shows 10% 1/2010. 9% 1/2011. A 1% drop. And it continued it's drop. The 3.7% we have today, is a 1% drop and is a continuation of the last 8 yrs. It didn't trend any faster after trump took office.
What you ignore is that these presidents got rich writing books and ****. They didnt get rich making seedy deals with corrupt officials because these officials happened to stay at their hotel. Trump is doing just that. Let alone the fact the fat ****ing loser holds literally 1/3rd of his presidency, something the sanctimonious right complained about for 8 years.
But we've all heard that the POTUS is this epic disaster. If the epic disaster is keeping pace with Obama, that obviously means he's not that much of a disaster, don't you think?
So you are saying the graph was between 9 and 10% which is exactly what he said, glad we agree on that. You are trying to insinuate that the unemployment number is the end all be all of economic performance and market indications. It is not, it is complicated, you are simplifying it to incredibly low levels.
His disaster is the divisive lying he does most every day. The fear mongering to the base. He separates America. That was extremely obvious on the campaign trail these last 2 weeks.
Calling you ignorant about economics is no personal attack, it is simply a measure of you putting 100% weight behind this graph and what you think it means. In truth, neither President, Obama or Trump, really did that much at all. The Market is a much more complicated beast and for the most part the President is more along for the ride than anything else. But again, showing an unemployment number and thinking that is an absolute victory, enough to personally attack someone, is lame.
It was but one measure. Stock market tripled. 75 months pvt sector job growth. I listed a few things. All were ignored or wrote off. As anemic. If it was anemic, the UE rate wouldn't have fallen as it did. So I used it.
It means what it means, in context to other things I listed. And that if the economy was anemic for 8 yrs, UE would not have got us back to basically what has been considered full employment by many economists standards. Absolute victory? I claimed no such thing. You don't live by what you preach. A bit hypocritical on your part.
Obama mocked me and all of my demographic groups for eight years: Whites Christians Males Heterosexuals Gun owers Taxpayers Private sector businessmen
And it was anemic. Wanna know how anemic it was? The economy was the #1 voting issue in 2016.(Amazingly, health care won that title in 2018 according to CBS. This country really does have political annesia. Only die hards like us remember the Dems proposal, and we know their proposal is no different today then it was 9 years ago.) And I for one, still disagree with that proposal.
Hopefully that little creep will soon be wearing an ankle bracelet to work like Collins and Hunter who are already under felony indictment.. Beto just dropped the f bomb on live TV....Good for him....He gave lying Ted Cruz a hell of a fight.
