    This is your attack now?

You flat out lied in an attempt to attack someone (me), then when called out on it, you try to side step with another personal attack.

We get it, you have no clue what you are talking about. And yes, you are acting like a teenager and you just did it again by avoiding the fact that you avoided the truth.

Obama divided the country for eight years along demographic lines. It worked well for him.

You're not putting this in perspective. The Republicans are getting totally behind Trump, such that if he majority crashes and burns he could take the party with him. And we are about to have a major market crash, likely while Trump is still president. I predict this house of cards will collapse over the next two years. There have been other times in American history where one party has dominated government, so it is not outside the realm of possibility. Also, this country will be over 60% urban by 2025, the demographic change will be overwhelming unless the Republicans evolve and update their platform beyond just appealling to rural undereducated folks.

Sure is tough to find accurate information on the Gubernatorial races.

Anyone have a site they are getting good updates from?

who cares, and who cares where the money came from, the man had business ties all over the globe... the entire dnc has been focused in on ruining the guy, like a deer in headlights, instead of doing their jobs... they only care about him... amazing... and the flock doesn't see that...

Who cares?! Who cares if the president is compromised! Who cares if the president is enriching himself off the presidency! I care about this nation and keeping it politically free, and I want to weed out corruption from our system. Trump is a good start.

voters have short memories, I think republicans will lose in 2020, but 2022 my guess is dems lose after that is unknown, but the pendulum goes back and forth

We lived through 2008-2016. If we could survive that, we can survive these next two years.

Ok, I will hold back my attacks on this one because I honestly get the feeling you haven't seen many elections (not saying that's a bad thing!)

But what you said was LITERALLY the exact statement people were making in 2009 with Obama

Then LITERALLY the exact statement people were making in 2016 with Clinton.

I am sure you have reasons you think those examples are "outliers", but if this election tonight didn't prove to you that the nation is split at about 50/50 then I don't know what will.

Simply attacking the other side by calling the under [ ] educated is no better than Republicans attacking Dem voters

Oh, and btw, your education meme is lame and is untruthful.

    2016 results

High school or less 45 Dem -- 51 Rep

Some college education 43 Dem -- 52 Rep

    College graduate 49 Dem -- 45 Rep

    Postgraduate education 58 Dem -- 37 Rep

2 yrs ago, the R's were all over themselves saying the D's are done for 10-20 yrs.
And it flipped as usual in midterms.
People keep voting middle, but the parties get more extreme.

    Lived through it?
We went from the greatest recession this side of the depression to steady growth and the longest bull run in history, I think. Very close.
    Stock market tripled.
Job growth was 75 months consecutive. A record.
UE, went from 10% to under 5%.

And you call that surviving. Wow, credibility is in serious jeopardy. Have you become 100% partisan?

There ya go, someone has payed attention.

The big interesting one is going to be 2020 and it is going to depend on who the Dems put up as well as what happens with the global economy.

Germany's GDP just came out and it is much worse than expected. China also is much slower than expeted and is starting to drop down to "normal" levels after decades of MASSIVE growth.

The next few years are simply going to have too much in them to speculate, IMO

Anemic job growth that is. And that unemployment drop was very late, it started around 2013(IE: After the 2010 mid terms). Before then, we were hovering around 9-10. Remember the "lost jobs" era? Yeah, I rememeber everything about 08-16.

And yeah, the stock market's been having a ball recently but no POTUS is in charge of that.

Anemeic. Our job situation today, is a direct result of all that anemic growth.
BS - the drop started in 2010 and has been steady in decline since then.
Yes, the lost jobs were thanks to Bush.

You have become nothing more than a partisan hack. Good day.

Why do you have to add the attack at the end?

I honestly don't understand why people attack others for having a different opinion now days. I guess I blame the media

Actually, we've gotten more job growth over the past 2 years then we had in the previous administration. Tough to hear, but Trump's kept his word on jobs(and on growth) when people said it was impossible. I'm not being partisan, I'm being factual. Which far too many people in this country can't bring themselves to the facts.

Trump has not been proven to be a criminal, there is no reason to suspect him to be one in the first place. Jobs are coming, and people's wages are also steadily rising. Instead of the previous president claiming credit, he could actually help the process and applaud his successor.
