Dumping the dollar: Iran & South Korea agree cross-currency trade Don't those ungrateful Koreans realize that they'd all be speaking Korean if not for the United States?! https://www.rt.com/business/443354-iran-south-korea-currencies-dollar/
RT does love to beat that "dumping the dollar" drum. They'll focus on whatever their Kremlin boss tells them to, of course.
Americans do love to beat that "trash the Russians" drum. They'll focus on whatever the CIA boss tells them to, of course.
Oh then countries are not dumping the dollar? Interesting! Anyway it's a serious situation and I hope Washington is adjusting to the new reality before it's too late - instead of just beating war drums. Venezuela launched it's crypto currency so people can now invest in their oil and gold mines without Washington's knowledge, and Russia has set up its own Swift. China, Iran and others are also trading through means other than SWIFT as well.
It's only a big deal to RT and the America-haters like yourself. All part of the "America is DOOOOOOOMED" concert.
My question is, should "adjusting" be a plan to keep the dollar dominant or a plan to save the American economic crisis by righteous means? And if it is to be the second part, what should their first step be?
I recall Pepe Escobar the writer laughing with the first sanctions towards Russia, on how Putin was going to dump the petro dollar, but Washington with its hubris, just kept adding sanctions to sanctions - even when Putin didn't retaliate so as to give Obama a chance to think it over. But then again arrogance hinders logic and reasoning - and if Washington has anything it's arrogance. With the exception of deception and propaganda to keep the value of the dollar high, is Washington able to plan for anything other than war? I don't think so, but for the sake o the American people, I hope they do. Here's the latest on it from Fort Russ: In a major development, India has officially joined the recent announcements of Russia and China; all three parties will entirely eliminate the USD from inter-national transactions. India has announced it will pay for the supply of Russian S-400 anti-missile systems in rubles, while China plans to make bilateral agreements in national currencies by the end of that year, Russian policymakers said. The greatest benefit of transactions in national currencies is the absence of currency fluctuations. An equally important problem in trade involving US dollars is the high probability of sanctions, which Washington “distributes” this year in all directions.
The contract between Moscow and New Delhi on supplies of Russian S-400 air defense systems will be settled in rubles, according to Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov. The move comes as Moscow intensified recent efforts to make de-dollarization of the Russian economy one of the main pillars of its policy. The Kremlin is looking for an alternative to the US dollar in mutual settlements with international partners. The key point of the plan is to make it more profitable for Russian exporters and importers to use rubles instead of dollars. ... https://www.rt.com/business/442716-india-s-400-ruble-settlement/ ----------- See? It's all Putin and his axis of pariah states.
Inflation is high and the dollar is low. Where is our gold that use to back the dollar? Looks like we have been robbed.
Don't you know? To criticize the foreign or domestic policy of the great bringer of freedom and democracy - the beacon on the hill, as it were - is to hate them and to be ungrateful for all they do do make the world a happy place. And they are sensitive about it......so quit being mean!
Too late fro that, nobody to trade with anymore. I would liek my my nations dollar to be backed by gold but since we are now a welfare nation it ain't gonna happen.
Declare economic war on other great powers with idiotic sanctions on friend and foe alike, prove yourself to be a completely unreliable and dishonest player by tearing up or pulling out of already signed international treaties and obligations and then stagger around the globe like a drunken, impotent frat boy demanding attention and money and insulting all and sundry and then you find out the world does not want to carry your bloated, ever-expanding sovereign debt anymore....... Imagine that. Oh wait , I'm being mean, aren't I????? Oh yeah, there's the freedom and democracy........
"Arrogance" and "adding punishment upon punishment" are both tactics of Israel as well. It's beginning to feel a lot like the unholy alliance between Hitler and Mussolini. The problem I have is distinguishing which one is playing the part of Hitler and which one is playing the part of Mussolini. I always assumed it was the U.S. dictating to the Israelis but the Arabs say it's the other way round and I am often surprised by their insight. I think you are right. I agree, it's just that the lines are being drawn deeper and deeper by the Americans and I am on the other side of that line. In the end, I am more concerned about Europeans (etc.) than I am about the Americans. I do understand very well that the Americans are being dumb-downed and duped by their own government but I don't care. If they step on my toes I'll rally around whoever gives the U.S. a bloody nose. Interesting. Thank.
The crisis that you can't see coming. Ghadaffi was killed and his country destroyed for wanting to take Africa off the American dollar, and he's not the only one. When the Pres. of Total Oil told Putin he was going off the Petro dollar his plane suffered a freak accident. The problem with the American dollar is SWIFT. The US gains each time the dollar is used, so that countries without wanting to are feeding our war machine. Even worse though, is that Washington acts like a big brother and can watch every transaction in the world. This is what gives us the power to sanction nations. There is nothing wrong with that if Washington was an honest broker, but it's not. As an example, when Vladimir Putin made a list of the 30 nations buying oil from ISIS, they should have been sanctioned but they were not. In other words Washington has become a law unto itself. It's mafia thuggery.
In my opinion...... this all needs to be taken very seriously! http://www.politicalforum.com/index...roke-out-in-the-house.545377/#post-1069857724
The one most Americans are complaining about or take your pick. Anyway, if you read the OP you'll have at least one (the one that's on the discussion table at the moment) to start with. It's what we call "On Topic".
Really? You mean Iran and S. Korea did this last month too? No doubt about it .... I gotta' start watching the news more carefully!
