Probably the same place that Russian Capital ships go to when we have disputes with Canada over Ports on the Great Lakes.

Probably! But I was talking about Western arrogance - which goes back to when they were bashing heads in to release the devil.

Russian 'creeping annexation' hits Ukraine in Sea of Azov

"It is the first time the Russian military has openly fired on the Ukrainian military and claimed responsibility for it."

Tensions in the Sea of Azov have been simmering for months and this weekend its waters came to the boil.

Russian ships opened fire at three Ukrainian naval vessels Sunday after they attempted to enter the sea.

Ukrainian media reported that 23 crew members were detained, including six who were injured, and the vessels seized.

Kiev's navy is hugely outgunned and outnumbered by Moscow. Ukraine responded by putting its forces on high alert.

Some Western experts say the Kremlin's tactics in the Sea of Azov are straight out of the Kremlin playbook.

Analysts have been warning for months that the Azov, which is just under half the size of Lake Superior, is the latest example of Russia carrying out "creeping annexation" — where borders are subtly shifted to take territory, or in this case waters, from former Soviet allies.

The Ukrainians seriously should attack it, blow it up. And Trump should have our forces there to back them up in case of Russian retaliation. This Crimean situation is BS. Boot thieving Putin out of there.

Herbst says Russia wants to provoke Ukraine as excuse for more military action
    By Askold Krushelnycky.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst believes that the attack by Russian forces against Ukrainian Navy vessels on Nov. 25 was intended to provoke Kyiv into a strong military response that would give Moscow a pretext for a larger attack on Ukraine.

He said that, by showing restraint and limiting its response to largely diplomatic activity, Kyiv “can turn a Russian tactical victory into a strategic defeat.”

Herbst, who is the director of its Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center, was speaking to journalists at the Washington-based think tank on the morning of Nov. 26. If, instead of being able to portray Ukrainians as the aggressors, Moscow is hit by “serious new sanctions,” Herbst said that would personally hurt Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s standing among Russians who would see a direct connection between his behavior and their deteriorating economy.

Herbst expected that Washington would ratchet up sanctions against Moscow and said: “I expect a very tough reaction from the U.S. government. Not as fast as we’d like… but there will be one. If the West doesn’t respond to this (aggression), the danger of this being repeated goes up.”

True....wouldn't be too hard, A few F22/35 and some missiles, no more bridge, maybe C4s should do the trick.

What is special about Syria. They were ruled by a murderous butcher. Then he died and his equally murderous butcherer son took over.

Too bad Israel didn't smack them down harder than they did in 67 and 73.

Should let Ukraine do it using some kind of Russian or domestically made munitions. We could just stand by to show the Russians how insignificant their military capabilities actually are.

But, I suppose the wisest move is to let this aggression go unanswered in any such way. This article - https://www.kyivpost.com/ukraine-po...raine-as-excuse-for-more-military-action.html - points out that Russia is likely trying to provoke Ukraine as a pretext for more aggression. I guess someone in Moscow is tired of the stalemate situation and Russia's deteriorating economy. Now it is about to get worse, I expect, as we and Europe respond to these latest shenanigans.

    Perfectly understandable.
All this guy's got is vacant brain Puerile one liners, and after a TYPO appeared
somewhere, he can't even seem to be able to spell the word STUPID - correctly
Upon reflection though - he does seems to define the word properly in its Literal sense

    P.S.:
Herbst said: “We all know that President Trump has some unexplained affection for the Kremlin and Mr. Putin :D but that has not prevented his administration from taking very strong steps against Kremlin aggression – actually more than the Obama administration – and I expect that dynamic will play out here too.”

Oh yes, it's sure to play out here too.

On the other hand I don't see the United States (or anyone else) wanting to throw nuclear warheads around over Crimea or the Sea of Atoz or Ukraine for that matter.
