    Our homicide is five times less than yours thanks to our sane gun legislation. Whats not to like ?

    Put your house up for rent buy an old caravan and a SUV, and do what our "grey nomads" do. Travel the country from free campsite to free campsite :D

    It used to be 10 times less before your sane gun legislation. What happened?

    Visiting secured tourist destinations does not make one worldly, no matter how many of them they may travel to.

    Why is there a homicide level to be had at all?

    Well at the moment I am on cyclone watch as a cat 3 reforms in the Gulf of Carpentaria which is about as specific as I get I fear, especially since one member threatened to drive to my home and shoot me because I did not like guns! Silly Twonk! I was rather hoping he would be dumb enough to try to drive across the Pacific :roll:

    Interesting. What does this skill tell you with regards to the respective death rates of the UK and the USA. For reference, we are the same age.

    The death rate per 100k populaiton for a white person in Colorado is 676.1

    https://www.kff.org/other/state-ind...0&sortModel={"colId":"Location","sort":"asc"}

    In England, the age standardize rate per 100k is 982 per 100k population.

    https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopula...gisteredbyareaofusualresidenceenglandandwales

    If you were to start counting from 1, which number would you arrive at first, 676 or 982?

    Is it common for cyclones to form in such a constricted body of water?

    I don't see any counting here, just anecdote. Yes, I've lived outside of the US, and traveled to 29 countries on four continents and one subcontinent.

    The united states has the excuse of being awash in firearms. There are more firearms in private circulation than there are individuals to legally own them on a one-to-one ratio, with the number of firearms increasing by an estimated minimum of forty one thousand on a daily basis. What excuse do various other nations possess to account for increased numbers of acid attacks being carried out within their territories? Why are so many countries so awash in acids that are so easily weaponized?

    That particular matter aside, the united states is far too overcrowded and consumed with hopelessness. The more there that are killing themselves off, the better things are for everyone else, including the rest of the world.

    Oh! Does England separate out the deaths by race as well or did you think other people cannot add up?

    Stay safe.

    Does their rates qualifying as "lower" make them acceptable overall? Are we establishing that a certain number of murders per year can indeed be considered acceptable, and thus not worth bothering with trying to lower further? Or is any number of murders always going to be regarded as unacceptable?
