"While Donald Trump has spent much of his presidency focused on the number of people who want to get into the U.S., since he took office, record numbers of Americans have wanted to get out." "During the first two years of the Trump administration, a record-high one in five U.S. women (20%) said they would like to move to another country permanently if they could." "30% of Americans younger than 30 who would like to move -- and it is also the group in which the gender gap is the largest. Forty percent of women younger than 30 said they would like to move, compared with 20% of men in this age group. Before the Trump years, there was no difference between men's and women's desires to move." "Desire to migrate among the poorest 20% of Americans during Trump's first two years is also at record levels." "The Trump effect on Americans' desire to migrate is a new manifestation of the increasing political polarization in the U.S. Before Trump took office, Americans' approval or disapproval of the president was not a push factor in their desire to migrate." https://news.gallup.com/poll/245789/...ans-leave.aspx How are the Trumpkins going to "make America great" when they got no women left? especially women under 30?
100% false or they would have left already. If you will excuse me, I have to claim I want to leave the house by staying home.
Not true, there could be an array of circumstances that prevent one from just picking up and leaving But that is regardless, point being more individuals expressed an opinion of wanting to leave the country
So what would you like us to conclude from these insincere opinions? One may conclude that those who hate Trump are too lazy to work towards what they want in life.
Yes, many celebrities told us they would leave if Reagan was elected in 1980. Ditto for both Bushes and Trump. Wishing to leave and promises to leave are great. Unfortunately, they never do.
True, but not in comparison to those expressing the thought today, especially younger people and women
Anyone left yet??? I always hear how liberals are gonna move if a republican wins, but they never actually do...bunch of whiners and sore losers
I know it's not the same thing as moving away to a foreign country exactly, but the more I see my own state of Colorado becoming a twisted, f*cked-up, hyperliberal slag-hole (thanks largely to all the Kalifornians who have moved in here over the last 20 years), the more I'm tempted to move back to the Hill Country of Texas, which I left a million years ago after graduating from high school there! But is that "real"...? Honestly, I may be fooling myself. Texas has no income tax (Texans brag about that all the time), but now it does have miserably high personal property taxes, thanks to all the hyperliberals who infest many of Texas' local school districts! And, my friends in different parts of the world tell me that their countries have become generally more miserable, crowded, way more expensive, and undesirable to live in -- especially my friends in Germany. I don't know... maybe there's a few islands off the coasts of Ireland or Scotland that would be nice places to live -- places where people are decent, clean, orderly, friendly, and, who mind their own damn business, without expecting their neighbors to give THEM 'free stuff'.... Or maybe the whole world (with the possible exception of Antarctica) is now irretrievably f*cked-up and there's no hope for anyone anymore.... "Do not even THINK about moving down here!"
I'll bet these people have never been outside the country and have no idea how good they have it. They should go, so they can get a reality check.
It's like a spoiled teenager screaming "god! I hate it here!" While being completely ignorant to how good they have it.
They should stop their whining and leave already. There is nothing keeping them here.... There are plenty of hot, young, feminine babes ready to take their place...
Well, I could make the argument that anyone crazy enough to want to leave America because they don't like the President is not someone who is an asset to America anyhow. So if they left they'd be doing their own part to "make America great" by leaving and taking their political derangement with them.
We're thinking about Idaho or Montana. I just know that we're going to see some unconstitutional legislation here at any time, and Polis has flip-flopped on his gun control positions. Now he'll support anything that gets him to higher office.
Meanwhile, something like 250 million people around the world want to come here and so do illegals, and they do so knowing who their president will be. I recall liberals ardently defending the world's shitholes, but not only will they not move there, they won't move to the decent countries.
What it MEANS is, that they don't expect any remedies, nor improvements coming. They have given up on Republicans leadership, as going anywhere but tyranny.
They either can't leave because they're not goot at life, or they wont leave because they don't really want to. Theres no other reason to stay. Either way, not Trump or conservatives' fault.
Moving the goal posts away from the topic and the poll results that you don't like or can't handle with a non sequitur.
I felt the same way when Muslim Boy was POTUS. All these leftists 'say' they want to leave, while immigrants from all over the world are breaking their necks to come here, legally or not.
And yet so many others from around the world wish to travel to the united states, including illegal aliens who actually will be targeted for their mere presence. Apparently Donald Trump is not doing a bad enough job of illegal aliens still believe the united states is the answer to their problems.
