    What about the life of the battery and not just holding a charge.
    Will the battery require total replacement sooner?

    It depends on a lot of factors and I'm certainly no expert.

    Typically they'll hold their charges longer (which is why some people store batteries in the frig), but they'll discharge faster during usage.

    How that affects the life of the battery, I'm not sure.

    I understand that it will impact the life of the battery and the pack will need to be replaced sooner than the company spec for them. In this case, probably by the 5-6th year..

    Does anyone know if the new coldest ever record for Moline IL represents the coldest temp in the N Hemisphere at this altitude and longitude? I am betting that this is. -33F smashed their oldest recorded coldest temp by 5F and is also state of IL coldest of all time record. I suppose the AGW faithful will tell us it would have been so much "worse" if not for the "warming"....

    depends on where we live, in some parts they're already mowing their lawns, where I live it's been a very mild winter I could've been riding my motorcycle for most of the winter... though we expect cooler temps in the next week
