To be fair, I've even seen you do it. Use a 40 degree day as evidence.

Where in any post of mine have I claimed that one abnormal temperature is definitive evidence of global warming? It may be an indicator that the trend continues but it is not evidence

Perhaps I'm misremembering, I'm pretty sure I saw you do it.

The thought is that warming in the North Pacific during the summer is responsible for disrupting the climate at the North Pole and cause outbreaks of cold in the winter.

IOW, you can't or won't discuss the science, but you'll dismiss it with misinformation and anecdotal evidence.

Yes the climate is changing as it has since the beginning of time.

    So much for Global warming.
I lived in upper Illinois for 21 years, we had massive amounts of snow back then. And then for years, not so much.

Climate change is real, but as scientist say we can only change it by a degree or two over the next 100 years

On another blog, cold weather and the life
    of car batteries was discussed.
It seems this cold weather takes years off the life of
regular car batteries and wise folks in the cold areas
refit their cars and trucks with oversized batteries.

Any news on how electric car batteries such as
Tesla or Prius are holding up in the cold.

And the effect on their longevity?

Extradition hearing set for March 6.

Sure, but its still renewable. Solar and wind aren't truly renewable because the parts for those collectors are limited.

The point being, I think global warming already affected Australia some time ago.

The other funny thing, which was another case of me using her own sources against her, is that the records show a great deal of cooling in north Australia since 1980.

I have a hybrid car. The battery life is severely effected by cold. Similarly, runny any of the systems of the car, like heat, or seat warmers, etc, induce the gas motor to always run during the cold. Gas mileage then reflects the efficiency of the gas motor during the winter. Our average from 45/6 MPG in the non winter months has dropped to around the 34/5 MPG range so far this winter.

Twelve! We have twelve years to live, minus the difference between when she said it, of course.

It's like suggesting that "suddenly" there was a dessert in the Sahara... We understand that the climate change that occurred subsequent to the abatement of the last ice age changed the climate in N Africa sufficient enough to create what is a very young dessert there.

Yep, that's gonna happen to anything that runs on batteries.

I've noticed a number of band new 3's on the side of the road.. Evidently, Tesla forgot to tell their buyers about the loss in range...
