The Founding Fathers didn't want a wall. There was actually very little federal immigration enforcement around the founding. If you were white and in the USA, you were pretty much seen as a future American. "Illegal immigrant" wasn't even in the lexicon. But now immigrants are brown, so here we are.

 

I see Asian Immigrants just the same as Latin Americans, or Oceanians or yes, Africans. Anyone who comes into the US illegally is an illegal alien who must be sent back to their home country of origin.

It needs to be carefully examined for dozen poison pills that forbidding Trump from declaring an emergency, or empowering left-wing officials to block the wall, empowering the EPA to block the wall, limiting detention bed space, empowering local officials to create sanctuary jurisdictions without consequence, and so on.
