Germany should be allowed to do what it wants, just know, if Germany gets attacked, if Germany leaves NATO, then no one would be obliged to retaliate.

Germany will only get attacked if the American bases are there. No bases, no attack. You know when Vladimir Putin asked to join Nato, the Europeans became nervous. Without Russia as an enemy, they wouldn't be getting their hefti paychecks.

Not really true. WW1 they got dragged into through a mutal defense treaty with Austria-Hungarian empire.

WW2 was invited by Germanys invasion of Poland but war was actually first proclaimed on Germany by France and UK. Germany didnt have plans to move went yet, though I'm sure that would have come in due time.

 

It's just about the 20th anniversary since the NATO action in Kosovo. I recall the arguments in favor of action in Kosovo as it would prove the value of NATO. Uh huh. We need to go to war in a country that has nothing to do with us to show how important it is to stay in an organization that has nothing to do with us so it can get us into wars that have nothing to do with us.

Apparently your relatives told lies to you. There were no american troops in Berlin in 1945 to whom they could run. Berlin was taken only by Russian Army. And Berlin wall appeared only in 1961. Do not worry, NATO will collapse the same way as Warsaw Pact sooner or later.

 

Nato was on its way of becoming irrelevant and collapse till Russia didn’t get back to 19th century behavior.
