To make it manageable, let’s exclude his slimy falsehoods to trophy wives and his fake hype for his sleazy scams like Trump U. Invariably, when the truth does not serve Trump, he contrives a self-serving alternative. (Empirical reality can be such a b¡tch!) Many are extremely amusing in their audacity and crackpot caprices away from reality. Here are a but a few gems mined from his bulging pants-on-fire motherlode. Global warming is a Chines hoax contrived to make US manufacturing non-competitive! (This Trump whopper set a Guinness record when 1,376,048,943 Chinese burst into raucous laughter simultaneously. The rest of the world groaned.) “I won the popular vote - if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally!” "I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down! Thousands of people were cheering!” (Certified BS or lunatic hallucination? You be the judge.) A day after a black activist was kicked and punched by voters at a Donald Trump rally in Alabama, Trump tweeted an image packed with racially loaded and incorrect murder statistics. None of his numbers are supported by official sources. Trump claims "biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan!” (Trump's 306-vote win in 2016 was actually only the largest electoral college victory since 2012 when Barack Obama was re-elected with 332 votes. Trump’s ranks 46th out of 58 US presidential elections.) Obviously, a cursory perusal of Trump’s fake facts barely scratches the surface; Here is a further compilation for your consideration: https://www.politifact.com/personalities/donald-trump/statements/byruling/false/ What’s your favorite?
> What's your favorite Trump lie? I'm gonna go with the first one (of the campaign)….an oldy but a goodie and one his minions hate to hear, but completely ignore like the rest of them. Mexico Will Pay For the Wall!
My favorite is his claim to be "a very stable genius." It has the virtue of being so funny...I can laugh each time I hear it.
Where the obese doofus claimed to be exonerated, and also the vanity of changing his height and weight after his physicals.
I give you full credit for recognizing the futility of attempting to dispute any of the aforementioned Trump lies.
And the hits just keep on coming! "I'm a student of history!" https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-leaves-for-nra-speech-in-indianapolis-live-updates/
This is my favorite. I Never Practiced Islam – LIAR, you practiced it daily at school, where you were registered as a Muslim and kept that faith for 31 years, until your wife made you change, so you could run for office.
When he told us "if we like our doctor, we can keep our doctor".. or "there hasn't been one scintilla of scandal in my administration" or the many times he said :I first heard about it when I read today's paper" or "I didn't know anything about Hillary's unsecured server" . I guess the most important thing about a "lie" , what is the consequence? Look at the results Pres Trump, despite withering opposition from the democrats and the backstabbing RINOS, has achieved.
Millions did vote and do vote illegally and democrat. NJ Muslims did cheer 9/11. Links don't open on the other two, but if I've told you once, I've told you a million times, hyperbola doesn't count as a "lie".
Nope. I can't find any evidence that supports Trump saying that. If it is your favorite Trump lie, you had better refer to the confirmed ones, of which there is no shortage of wonderful choices. "Oh, yeah! Well, what about ...?"
There is no evidence anywhere that millions of people are illegally voting and his claim was that there were thousands of NJ Muslims publicly cheering on 9/11. He lies. Yes, hyperbole can be a lie. His "truthful hyperbole" is lying. Back to the OP, though, my personal favorite lie it when he said that Clinton had started birtherism and he had ended it.
That's not a lie. The statute has nothing to do with the claim. What Obama should have said "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor if your insurance company says it's OK."
It mostly gives me a headache because of how often we were told that people liked him because he "tells it like it is" and is "a straight-shooter," followed by years of constantly having to reinterpret what he says to try to make it truthful, as if he spoke in tea leaves that have to be interpreted by his spokespeople.
My current fav? The invisible jet!!! Though to be fair it is unclear whether this was a lie or sheer stupidity
