    Let me get this straight.

Mexi-fornia is going to force citizens to buy health insurance or get penalized, while non-citizens are not going to be penalized but will still receive health insurance. WTF?

You can't make this crap up folks.

Perhaps it about time to abandon the Mexico wall and start building a wall around California....

I'm all for California secession. However, I question how the progressives intend to pay off the pension liability when it comes due. Right now, they can shift the cost to the Federal government. Will California print its own money?

It's crazy when you add how much the state gets from Washington for benefits.

California can more than take care of itself. The strongest state economy/ largest ports/ most fertile region in perhaps the world/ entertainment/ internet capital of the world/ warm climate/ largest university system in the nation, etc etc. When Republicans attempt to exert their ignorance/ bigotry, Californians revolt and prefer to follow the example of many other less prosperous countries [Canada/ European nations] who provide healthcare for everyone. We don't want to be slowed down by who we see as fools [ie Republicans].

We may not be agree on much but we definitely agree on California leaving. Liberals want it and conservatives want it. We should band together to make it happen. I think it is inevitable at this point, that or civil war.

But actually more than California would leave the nation. Washington/ Oregon/ Hawaii are also frustrated by the madness of Trump & Republicans. Then, of-course, many eastern states such as New York are also unwilling to be ruled by ignorant Republicans in DC. Republicans can have the South [minus Florida] and the Midwest [minus Illinois/ Minnesota]. Let those who are immorally/ intellectually incapable of leadership have what is left of America. California will be the first to call for divorce.

Lets work to get California out of the union first. That is something we both agree on.

Keep electing Republicans and hasten the movement. Like of a hard bowel movement then flush it down and away. Will 'Hee Haw' reruns become the big winner for Republicans on their only TV station, Fox News?

California likes taxes. We could heavily tax the Red Nation [now their capitol is in Alabama] for TV programs/ Internet products. No more strawberries/ avocados/ along with hundreds of other fruits/ vegetables/ nuts/ wine, etc unless the Republican nation pays huge tariffs. We really don't eat sow beans so the Red nation can keep that for themselves along with tobaccy.

According to your map the best government is divided government, then a democratic government followed by a republican government coming up at the rear. Fiscal conservatives my ass.

33% of electricity used by California is imported by neighboring states.

California's GDP per capita by states comes in 8th place.

Yeah Kansas is so much more scenic than California. And hogs make good family pets.

Kansas doesn't have the druggy and homeless problem as does Commie-fornia.

No. I've probably spent more money in a week at South Lake Tahoe/Reno than most California liberals make in a month. I'd prefer that not be an international trip.

Governor Brown began working on a Western states-only power grid to guarantee clean energy. I think the Pacific Northwest is on board. Those are the other West Coast states that are eliminating all Republicans. Boy, North Dakota is going to get crowded fast with all the Republican refugees seeking acceptance.

Indeed. The 10 most heavily populated cities in these United States are in California.
