And in the endgame California has become America's first third world state.

    America’s First Third-World State
Medieval diseases, gangs, corruption, crime, crumbling infrastructure, out-of-touch wealthy elites …

No both legal and illegal drugs are abused throughout the USA and the world for that matter. West Virginia has the worst heroin problem in the nation. There are pockets of areas throughout the USA where it is real bad and some areas better than others.

You realize that California has over $2.8 trillion in debt? If California became it's own country, it would quickly become Greece.

Anyway, you didn't answer the question. You call the other side fools, but as they say about judging...

No, it can't. It never could. People are leaving California in droves and those people are tax payers who are being replaced by illegals and those who need to be taken care of. Simple math will tell you that eventually, California will start to resemble a 3rd world dump. California no longer cares about it's actual citizens and favors those that need gov't assistance.

That is what the limousine liberals say as they drive by the homeless. "Look at how much money we have!" The truth is that CA is the poverty capitol of the US. Taking money from working families to give to illegal aliens shows how little respect your party has for those who contribute. It also creates an incentive to come here illegally, which makes the actual cost much higher than dems claim. Fools? no. Willing to screw working people for more power? Absolutely.

Rich folks buy up vast tracts of homes and properties. Then let it turn into a craphole, apply for Federal "revitalization" funds. Then use the taxpayers money to improve the areas where they own property skyrocketing the value compared to what they paid.

Florida might be a reclaimed swamp, but I can easily jump into the ocean water there any time of the year. I even vacationed on the beach there in January. In CA even August is too cold. And I’m saying that as someone who lives by Lake Michigan and likes to swim in it during summer months.

Who travels for views? Besides, mountains and ocean drive are great, but step outside to Hollywood Blvd and you’ll end up in ghetto.

Another problem that CA has is that it’s in the middle of nowhere - to the west you have ocean, to the north sparsely populated states, to the east nothing but desert, except for Vegas, but even that is just a few streets, and to the South you got Mexico. For you, getting to civilization requires flying for several hours. Want to go to Europe? Prepare for excruciating long flight! Want real warm waters of Carribean, Gulf of Mexico or Atlantic Ocean? Your flight will be longer than mine out of Chicago. So, you all just sit there and marinate in your own juices thinking how awesome your state is, while you pretty much live on an island in the middle of nowhere.
Do you think that many people want to endure a very long flight just to see your coastline? Almost everyone I know who’ve been to CA tell me they’ve seen enough and a second trip (non-business) is just not worth it.

There are advantages of visiting California.

One no longer has to travel to Mexico to take in Mexico and a donkey show, all you have to do is visit L.A.

Three cultures can be found in California, rich liberal elitist, socialism and the third world.

Travel to exotic California; meet exciting unusual liberals, illegal aliens, gang bangers, homeless Americans and streets and sidewalks covered with feces.

Don't forget to visit Los Angeles art district.

Upon closer examination of the Trump star there clearly appears to be feces wiped on among the filth. Perhaps dog poop or, who knows, maybe someone took a dump on it. Certainly we know people pee on Trump's star and spit on it. Republicans must be a bit distressed trying to pay homage to their president surrounded by everyone
    else chanting "F Donald Trump".

That is expected from people and a state that stole billions on a rail project they never intended to build. Has CA paid back the money yet?

LAX will start passing out poop maps soon, just like SFO.

Your California hate is certainly blatant yet you won't tell us where you call home. Why is that? Embarrassed? But I do agree with you that there are some beautiful places all over the nation. I was a seminarian in northern Indiana and spent time in Michigan as a young man. I loved the countryside, the many lakes and never tried of the snow. But I knew that my time as a student there and in New York City would come to an end and I would return to where I was born so the long dark winters and spectacular summer storms would eventually be only a memory.

Your comment that California is "in the middle of nowhere" is priceless coming from someone likely living in the Rust Belt. Republicans, like their dear leader, make false statements over and over again like a litany of loathing. Mostly cowardly people, they carefully conceal their whereabouts but endlessly attack states such as California out of deep hatred. You are a very small minority that only get more remote in California. Like a chronic case of psoriasis we only rejoice when Republicans go away or just shut up, sip their cocktails on the patio on a warm winter evening watching the sunset.

Taking selfies of yourself flipping off the pavement and thinking other people would be impressed..... yup that is completely sane.

On the contrary, the Blvd is often too crowded and I am not enamored with movie stars anyway. Like many Californians we avoid the tourist areas unless out-of-state company are in town. There was a small crowd around Trump's star maybe because a few guys were rapping/ dancing for attention and spare change. The Trump star, however, was the only star that drew people to take selfies. Lots of swear words and laughter. Some people spat or jumped on the star. It has been heavily vandalised and replaced a few times.

He actually posted it as if it was some sort of "badge of honor" or something. "Look how great we are, we are flipping off an inanimate object everyone. We are so cool!"

California is certainly a beautiful state. Unfortunately the major population centers are filled with progressives which ruin it for everyone else.

The major population centers ruin it for everyone. I was looking at property in South Lake Tahoe, and it’s just a huge hassle.

You are correct, I do hate stupidity if I am affected. Republicans remind me of the class clown, the least brightest kids in school. The teacher has to spend more time redirecting the foolish pupil, slowing down the class because the Republican-to-be can't figure out the lesson and prefers to disrupt the class. To actually admit to being a Republican on college campuses is tantamount to social suicide.
