    You watch too much CNN. Believe me, Obama was hated by conservatives every bit as much as you hate Trump, but conservatives have more decency and respect for country to pull the childish, traitorous stuff libs do.

    You are wrong. Trump is unpredictable and the Chinese are long term planners and hate dealing with the unknown. Obama, Bush, and most of the rest were pushovers. How the hell do you think we got into the position we are in?

    Trump has put them in the position of uncertainty. They no longer dictate the terms of the deal. I understand you want to pay $2.00 for a Chinese tee shirt but I prefer not to be obligated. Yesterday, I laughed out loud at malcontent leftie outrage when it was announced the US is the largest supplier of oil in the world eclipsing that of the Mid-east countries that kept us in day long lines begging for oil during the Carter administration. Sorry if that offends the Prius drivers but it just makes me want to exercise my twin turbo's that much harder when heading down a long freeway on-ramp.

    How true is that? The lefties beg for strong unions, better paying jobs, more employment but they flock into Walmart or the internet seeking the absolute lowers price they can find which is actually forcing their very cause into suicide. God forbid they buy American. Best summed up, find me a picture of the debates where there was an actual American flag in that stage. Don't bother, it doesn't exist.

    Do we "hate" our own children when we tell them they can do better? No. We just want them to do better.
    Electing Trump was not doing something better. It was a step backward. Both Republicans and Democrats can do better than nominating Hillary or Trump. We can do better.

    You beat me to it, but as always, you represented my thoughts far better than I ever could.

    Patriotism is such a curious thing. What causes one to feel patriotic? And how does one show or demonstrate that patriotism? But even more important a question, to me, is - how important is 'patriotism'? It seems to be of vital importance to many in this country, but I suspect if they are asked about it and why they feel that way, it would come down to generalizations.

    Home is home - and there is sentimentality related to that. But patriotism is something very different. It is about pride in one's homeland. And, for me, pride comes when I agree that the homeland is doing good things for ALL citizens. Making the lives of those citizens better.

    And remember for a long time Democrats and the KKK were one and the same.

    It would be safe to say the 22% figure of Democrats extremely proud of being American is the lowest it's been since the Civil War.
