If you all actually care about the crisis at the border, you all would work with republicans to actually secure the border first, but you all don't want to do that. You want open borders so you can have more voters and it's disgusting. We all know now you don't care about american citizens, otherwise you all would've done something about the homeless problem in the U.S. decades ago.
It's illegal for illegal immigrants to vote in federal elections. Neither side has done anything about the homeless problem. Make it law that anyone caught hiring an illegal immigrant will do jail time and you'll see jobs for illegals dry up real quick. No jobs, no reason to come here. No jobs will also get rid of those illegals already here....something a wall can't do.
Their are probably two democrats who want open borders. The rest is republican bs. And the homeless problem is a result of a free market. It is wealth disparity. I looked up the numbers for Seattle. Many people don't make enough money [working full time] to pay the rent. The republican solution is, screw em! It's a free market. If the Dems try to address the problem, they are labeled socialists.
Back in 2013 the Dems DID work with the GOP on BIPARTISAN immigration reform and passed it in the Senate. The GOP UNILATERALLY killed it in the House in 2014 so YOUR SIDE is to blame here.
Uh...and WTH have the republicans done about the homeless problem? Oh...that's right, absolutely nothing. We now know the republicans don't care about American citizens by your logic.
Sorry, but that isn't true. Dems having a different idea about the best way to approach illegal immigration does not mean they want open borders. I grow tired of reading that fabricated lie. The false claim is being used by the Conman-in-Chief to insist anyone who doesn't support the construction of his wall he said Mexico would pay for isn't serious about border security. That too is a lie.
If either party really cared about the immigration issue they would have taken action. Using it as a wedge issue garners more votes.
Why do you believe they "hate" America? For the record, I can't stand EITHER side of the aisle as both sides have pukes for politicians.
I find myself needing to correct the record for Trumpette's on this matter all the time. Senate Dems with the help of some Repubs passed immigration reform in 2013. Only to be stymied by House Repubs when Boehner refused to bring the bill to the floor for a vote. An event similar to one that happened in 2006. https://www.americanimmigrationcoun...44-understanding-2013-senate-immigration-bill
So why didn’t the Democrats or the GOP pass such a bill when they had both houses. Here’s a theory, It is much easier to pass a bill when you know it will not go anywhere. It looks great because it looks like something is being accomplished. Thus allowing for immigration remain a wedge issue.
The Dirty Donald tax cuts for the rich and powerful have further increased the already large income gap between the haves and have nots, with no end in sight.Real estate keeps increasing in price as do the taxes on it,pricing more and more Americans out of the housing market and now the tariffs are cutting millions out of the auto market.
You do know there was a bipartisan proposal that Trump torpedoed right. Trump has made not one single actual proposal that didn't include his moronic wall which he new the Dems would not buy. Trump wants the issue to run on and doesn't give two farts about America or it's citizens or frankly anyone but himself.
Let me know when Trump tells a white person to go back to the country they came from. He is a racist. And the Republican party is his enablers.
Really perhaps you can give us a breakdown by ethnicity and income as to who the drug addicts are in Seattle. Can't. Thought so. Another Trump racist supporter exposed.
The Dems only had a very short period of time under Obama when they had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. At that time there was some other stuff going on, like the collapse of the world economy.......thanks Dubya. Dems have been willing to pass immigration reform for years but keep coming up against a Repub stone wall over the issue of a path to citizenship for qualified immigrants. Dems have stipulated they would need to go through an arduous process to gain citizenship but Repubs will have none of it...........even thought the matter is popular among Repubs. Majority against border wall, favors pathway to citizenship for Dreamers: poll "A majority of Republicans and independents who tilt toward the GOP, 75 percent, support a policy that would let undocumented immigrants who were unlawfully brought to the U.S. when they were children pursue a path to citizenship should they adhere to specific conditions." https://thehill.com/latino/393196-m...all-favor-pathway-to-citizenship-for-dreamers
So cops happen to know 99.9% of all homeless in Seattle are drug addicts? That of course is impossible to know. So you only have anecdotal evidence. Got it
