They don't have to vote to have an influence on the election. If they are counted in the census and not identified as nonresidents, they count towards the electoral college delegates in that state. That results in that state having a bigger influence than if they only counted legal residents.
Oh the wholesale amnesty with no meaningful enforcement bill, wasn't it, a bill guaranteeing beyond any doubt not only the legalization of 20 million illegals but that the country would face the exact same problem with 20 million new illegals 5-10 years later. Hmm, isn't that betrayal of the American people by both parties was what got Trump elected in the first place? Duh
Because the legislation contained a pathway to citizenship, allowing illegal aliens to skip over and bypass those who are presently trying to immigrate into the united states in a legal manner. The bill was killed for rewarding criminal behavior.
Can you show my verifiable factual proof of states that have gained electoral votes due to illegal immigrants?
California very likely has three more delegates because of illegal residents. They have 2,200,000 illegal immigrants. There is approximately one delegate per 750,000. 2,200,000/750,000 = 2.93.
Since there is no factual data proving such then that is proof illegals haven’t increased electoral votes.
Considering the number of delegates didn’t increase after the last census I’d say illegals aren’t having the impact you think.
Proof? Hardly. You’re basing your proof on multiple assumptions. The 2.2m is not a proven number. It’s a guesstimate. You’re also assuming every illegal fills out a census. So I wouldn’t throw around the ‘proof’ word if I were you. Let’s go with you have me an assumption.
If the illegals are not filling out census forms, what is the fuss about them saying whether they are citizens. Do you really think that there were not enough illegals counted to count towards one or more delegates? Seriously? But you are right, they do not have an accurate count. it could be a lot more than 2.2 million. 2.2 million is the best estimate. That makes three. You can deny all you want, but that is the most likely number.
You don;'t believe that any of those were counted? On one hand you want them to be counted and on the other hand you don't want anyone else to believe they are counted. By the way, I used a low number. The number of illegals could make it four representatives.
There is no such animal as open borders. The border is watched by satellites, listening devices, motion detectors, fences, guards etc...How is open?
I want illegals to be counted on the census? Really? Are ya sure about that? Show me one post where I stated I want illegals counted on the census. Go ahead..I'll be waiting... As far as your claim goes...it's all based on assumptions. You have no idea how many illegals filled out a census form. You keep stating your numbers are "proof" but they are anything but.
Correction. Democrats in general don't want non citizens to have to identify themselves as non citizens on the census. .
