Mass shootings are super duper bad. We need to find out who this guy is. We need to examine the places he went online. Where's his social media feed? We need to know his political leanings. If he likes a politician of any sort we need to look at that politician and everyone else who supports them.

Yes, all mass shootings are bad. All shootings in general are bad. What’s different? Well, it’s probably not politically motivated and the ******* likely didn’t leave some crazy manifesto on 4chan or whatever. It was probably some dumb personal dispute that this dude decided to settle with guns at a kid’s birthday party.

A mass shooting is a mass shooting, the end result is the same for the victims.

 

Why is a child's party still going on so late? Especially when a child is too young to have a preference, birthday parties are often gatherings for family and friends to socialize and celebrate the event. There's nothing wrong with this and it provides an opportunity for the kids extended community to bond with the child and each other. The two year old might go to sleep but other family members might linger, especially if the next day isn't a work or school day.

Why isn't this being treated like a serial shooting? Is it possible that the shooter knew the victims? Could the shooter have even been invited to the party? I think of serial killings as random shootings, in which most of the victims had no connection to the shooter. At any rate, what should have been a happy event was ruined.

The MSM only seems to care when mass shootings take down white people.

 

That gets the most attention? Yes. That seems to be what shocks people the most and the motive is almost immediately discovered because they post rantings online. The news blasts it at us because there’s a surge of information as soon as they find out the shooter’s name.

It’s not really odd if you just think about how to generate viewership, and the more discord you can create the more attention you’ll get. Both sides do it but people are blinded by their strict allegiance to their side and then it becomes what many in this thread are bitching about.
