So you are part of "you" in - Then how come "YOU" say that there are thousands crossing the border illegally and not caught - where are those patrolling border guards when needed?

    Make up your mind!

Actually there is tech being used in the wall. There's even a thread on the forum here by a Trump hater about it: Trump wrong footed again

As for an increase in manpower...blame congress on that one. Trump can use the money he's using on materials and the construction crews, but he can't use it to sustainably hire more BP.

He should have spent the money on more BP or even better go after the employers of illegals.

Anyway, you're referring to a wire system that is supposedly in each bar. This is being spread by Trump probably unintentionally because he does not understand it which is the reason that the general did not want to talk about it. There is no electronics within each section of fencing so it's not possible to pinpoint where exactly any fencing is cut. Cut any wire and all that would be known is that a section of fence has been cut with no information of which fence panel has been cut. It also can be seen that there is no wire connection between each fence panel so where is this wire? I can easily design how it could be done but it's not cheap so it's not incorporated within the "new wall". It is effectively fake news IMO

The left seems to be surrendering to the idea that if just a few illegals can get across then every method we use to stop them is worthless, so we shouldn't do anything about them. They've complained about every method we can use to keep them out and then when they get here the left doesn't want us to deport them. The best part is even liberals who aren't American citizens who don't live in this country want, yes want, unfettered illegal immigration into America.

If any liberals disagree with me, then tell me how you would stop illegals from coming here. Technology doesn't stop anyone, something/someone has to stop them and you guys oppose both.

There will be when they're not tied up grabbing the thousands that cross per day where there is no wall.

If you can come up with $6k for a coyote you can find another $540 for a couple of ladders.
Or you can buy them used (only once). :)

Yes, and I acknowledged the layered fencing in that same exact post, but again this isn't a new design

There are no BP on the Mexican side and hardly any BP on the US side because all the money is being spent on unmanned fences

Clearly? Wouldn't exposed wiring be vulnerable? Hmm...yes, yes they would. Just because you don't see wires, doesn't mean that wiring isn't there. There are millions of land line phones in the country. How many phone lines do you see?

Says the people who spend 100 billion on total illegal immigration costs per year, and just spent $15 billion to send diapers and formula to the border.

Why the wall should be a double wall with 50' of cleared space between them. Ground based motion sensors in the cleared space.

16000 in total covering the whole length of the border and this includes those in management and admin who don't actually do the patrolling. Then take into account that one man works 8 hours a day for 5 days a week and need cover for those off sick or on holiday and most of the BP work at the official entry points leaves "hardly any" to patrol the remaining huge length of border.

We can see the posts in each panel in the video which are hollow. Concrete is poured into each post once planted into the ground so where is this wire connection connecting every post to the adjacent post. The wiring has to be continuous running down the full length of each post and through each and every post.

Mexicans are stealing parts of the wall that they like for their own protection.
Trump is paying for the protection of Mexicans, instead of having Mexicans pay for the wall.
    True story.

Don't need them right now. Won't need them in the foreseeable future either.
    Just an example. :)
I think Trump is just confused.
He has these little episodes where he sees things as he wishes they were.
