Dude. What the actual ****. He was not bragging about the Ukrainians firing a prosecutor investigating Burisma Oil and his son. The prosecutor had closed the investigation into Burisma Oil and his son two years BEFORE he got fired. He was fired for NOT investigating corruption and Biden was the point man representing nearly every single Western Nation who wanted that prosecutor fired for his unwillingness to investigate corruption.

If you really think he admitted to a crime on that video, why did the new ukrainian prosecutor say that Biden did nothing wrong a full year AFTER that video was made? Why didn't Trump refer Biden to a domestic investigatory agency after that video?

He was investigating both before and after those comments were made. And all of those investigations resulted in findings of zero evidence of wrong doing.

World leaders ask other word leaders for assistance all the time. It is not illegal just because Trump frothers say it is. Like millions of people who saw Joe brag about blackmail, Trump ASKED the new Ukrainian president to look into it. No one should get a pass on blackmail whether they are running for office or not. An allegation of a crime is an allegation of a crime. The new president was free to say yes, or no, to this request without consequence. He said so when he was in Washington, so there is no offended party except Trump frothers.

Trump freely released a transcript of the conversation you are moaning about. Democrats who are railing about it are the same people who tried to frame Trump in the Russian Collusion Illusion so they have zero credibility.

Too many freshman congress people will get the boot next November if they vote yes. and Nancy knows it. It will never pass in the Senate and the back lash at the polls next November would be devastating.

The prosecutor that Biden got fired had shut down the investigation into Burisma oil roughly two years before he was fired. So to claim that he was fired because of an ongoing investigation into Biden's son (let alone that Biden bragged about it) is a fundamental and factually inaccurate statement.

 

Biden bragged about threatening Ukraine to fire Shokin. Why would Biden threaten Ukraine for dropping an investigation into the company Biden's son worked for? The investigation was shelved after Shokin was fired in 2016.

 

That is your first article of impeachment in one easy to understand sentence..

The investigation was completed two years prior. You have been shown this fact many, many times.

And after Biden bragged about getting Shokin fired, the new prosecutor re-opened the investigation. He then concluded one year later that none of the Bidens committed any wrongdoing.

Now, do you have a reaction to the actual topic of this thread: Namely that support for Impeachment of Donald Trump jumped 7 points in a week?

 

The Shokin investigation was not investigating Biden's son. The Shokin investigation was investigating Burisma that was paying Biden's son. That investigation got shelved after Shokin was fired.

 

It might have jumped 7 additional points since this thread was opened...

I am one of those Republicans that would answer a poll yes for impeachment, because I know that would guarantee another 4 years of Trump. He is the best thing to happen to America in decades. Democrats live and die by polls, if a poll told them to hold their urine they would die before they emptied their bladders.

 

So you say as that is the 'official' story but not the story Shokin tells.
