a. the obstruction of lawfully conducted and constitutionally protected congressional investigations in to actions taken by the POTUS and members of his administration.

b. the obstruction of a duly appointed and authorized investigation conducted by the Office of Special Counsel.

2. In his conduct of the office of President of the United States, Mafia Don, in violation of his constitutional oath to faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has prevented, obstructed, and impeded the administration of justice, in that:

a. solicitation of assistance from a foreign government in the upcoming 2020 presidential election during a phone conversation between himself and the President of Ukraine.

 

Lets hope you have finally got around to it. Our PM (TRUMP 2) lasted about two months in office but the poor old boy doesn't realise yet that he's a dead fish in the water.

Speaking of irony, how about Don expressing concern about Ukrainian corruption to Zelensky while he tries to corrupt Ukraine by using extortion to get them to try to influence the upcoming US election.

 

Where is Russian collusion? Where is Campaign financing? Where is bribing a porn star? Where is talking dirty in private? Where is foreigners staying at his hotels? Where is firing a subordinate? Are all of these just ole yesterday's impeachments?

 

That will be a difficult sell without a full house vote on an impeachment investigation. Pelosi just declaring it a formal investigation will not hack it because without that vote, the minority members will not be able to issue subpoenas.

Apparently Pelosi is afraid to put it to a vote.

Admittedly, there are a plethora of offenses to choose from. But I think the Dems would be wise to narrow their focus.

 

This is a silly response. The only charge in discussion is the improper use of a foreign power to influence a United States election. While some of the items you cited are covered in the Mueller Investigation, Democrats have wisely avoided the complexity and multiplicity of charges contained in a 448 page document. The focus in on Ukraine and the public gets it.

 

If there is possible corruption, it should be investigated. The fact that the person who is under suspicion is a presidential candidate should not change that.

Yes, Democrats wisely gave up on the Mueller report because it had no legs or substance and was becoming a too long old and trite fiction novel fast. The Ukraine thing is the impeachment extemporalis. No telling what November's impeachment charge will be.

Sure enough, Trump was lying again about being cooperative with Congressional investigations. Trump is planning to tell House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that they will not cooperate with the ongoing impeachment inquiry until the full House votes to authorize it, officials said today. The White House letter may go out Monday.

So, now Trump is telling the speaker of the house what to vote on. This has Republicans in Congress concerned.

This could only happen with an incompetent idiot as President, and Putin is loving every bit of it.

The White House is going to send a letter to the House of Representatives telling them to impeach the President.

Yeah, I'm old enough to remember when Trump was going to impeached for Russian collusion, et al.

Liberals/progressives/socialists/communists haven't realized that normal Americans pretty much quit paying attention to their rants of impeding disaster about the time they assured us that electing the warmonger Ronald Reagan would clearly and unequivocally lead to nuclear war with the Soviet Union.

They don't realize they've only found success by having their candidates focusing on the economy, or having the first (insert a member of what leftists call marginalized groups here) pretending to much more conservative than they really are. But even they now realize Hillary was a terrible candidate who would have been teaching community college in rural Illinois if she hadn't married the right fella.

Watch for Warren to become much more 'moderate' after the leftists nominate her, and the Democratic Party operatives who pose as journalists for the New York Times, Washington Post and other 'news' organizations begin talking about her soon to be historical election.

Impeachment charges cannot be examined beyond a cursory stage let alone written unless the entire House votes to do so. Duh!

"The entire House?" I'm afraid not. Only a simple majority is required. The Speaker is a vote counter. She will know the time. Rose colored glasses? I don't own a pair. I too am a vote counter and a meticulous poll watcher. Public sentiment is shifting in favor of impeachment. Only the most jaded, star-eyed Trump supporters deny this.

Every poll (except for the RW crazies) show Trump slipping in every category. PS. Biden is stubbornly maintaining a double digit lead over Trump. The right wing spin machine has sand in its gears. Romney. What about Romney? There's a tale to tell. Pretty soon, real Conservatives (anti-deficit, free trade, anti-Trump) will come to accept their orange ticket to reelection has turned sour and needs to go. Romney knows this and is positioning himself at the starting gate. If I were a Democrat, that would cause me worry because Mitt is eminently electable. Frankly, in my opinion, I don't see anyone in the current lineup that could beat him.

But first, Trump has to go and public opinion will write that chapter and Democrats are providing plenty of ink.
