You know how they mayor of Minneapolis said police were banned from wearing their uniforms at Trump's rally? Here's how it was went when Obama was in Minnesota. Uniformed police were basically forced to be props in the show. https://defensemaven.io/bluelivesma...nned-from-trump-rally-CMHJvkhvhkW95MJO246Wkg/
When your options are Trump or people who think you are racist, murdering oppressors... Which side would you support?
Why that particular amount... ... Do you think i think its random? You will notice the jump from 82k to 470k was from another wingnut Mayor in El Paso. Did you think that just because i did not quote the entire thing that i did not read it.. The part you quoted helps my cause it does not hurt it.
President Barack Obama’s campaign committee did not always pay municipal police bills when local governments wanted, and in at least one reported case, ignored a large bill, arguing that it wasn’t responsible for the costs. Obama’s campaign committee officially shut down in July 2018 without reporting any remaining debt. Federal records do indicate that Obama’s campaign paid some local government entities — from the City of Hollywood, Florida, to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police — for “security” costs over the years. Others never pay. Numerous city officials told the Center for Public Integrity that, over the years, they’ve billed both Democratic and Republican candidates for police costs only to be ignored. https://publicintegrity.org/federal-politics/donald-trump-police-cities-bills-maga-rallies/ Seems its an issue with both sides. Simple solution mentioned in the article is for Congress to act you know.. they do write legislation Requiring Candidates to pay out of the Campaign or Presidents to have it pay out of the Secret Service fund as they are the ones that request the protection or what is needed. Simple.....
Are you claiming Antifa never hurt anyone... You seem to be but there is no way you could be saying that so i must be mistaken!
It’s not random, it’s another bill that trump refuses to pay. You keep indicating it was the amount but it wasn’t — it’s how trump operates. It’s how he operated in business also to the detriment of his workers and contractors. I don’t care if it was 20 bazillion dollars. I’m sure the size and demographics of the city are lost on you. How does it help your case? It shows politicians are bilking the taxpayer — and that y’all are fine with it as long as it’s team red.
Ok, maybe you can answer the question since you have backtracked or failed at all of your previous statements. How many people has Antifa killed? Compare that to the number of far right murders. Which is the terrorist group?
Oh, they hurt plenty. People, Starbucks windows, red hats, trash cans(they love knocking over trash cans), etc... They hurt plenty, but they just don't seem to have the competency, nor the arm strength, to actually kill anybody.
As is very frequently the case, I find myself aligned neither with the MAGA types nor the fervent resistors. The Democratic mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, tried to stop President Trump from speaking there, by imposing a (punitive) 530 thousand dollar fee for additional "security." That is just blatant harassment. On the other hand, I have never been much of a fan of the strategy of inflaming the base, while ignoring the political center. More to the point even, I thought that the president was somewhat vulgar in his language last night. Joe Biden--whom I do not at all respect, frankly--was described as a person who performed okay as VP because he "understood how to kiss Barack Obama's @ss." I just did not consider the performance presidential. I am guessing that the Trump haters will see the performance as 100 percent bad, whereas the Trump lovers will see it as 100 percent good. But perhaps someone will prove me wrong...
I guess you will have to decide which is more important-a gruff but correct POTUS, or a slick sounding lying politician.
Why do you believe that it would be impossible to have a president who is neither "gruff" nor "slick sounding" but "lying" (as Bill Clinton certainly was)?
This was a political rally. Take a listen to one of Trump's State of the Union speeches if it pleases you.
Speaking of State of the Union speeches, when's Trump's next one? That last one was a humdinger. I want to see Democrats scowling at "record-low black unemployment" again.
