I'd be shocked if either of the Twins went red, but the state has a huge rural portion, not to mention the suburbs. It'd be folly to expect anything at this point IMO.

Yes, it was, indeed, "a political rally"--as regarding which, President Trump has far too many, in my view. (No other president within my lifetime--and I was born in 1948--has hosted nearly so many.)

In any case, President Trump appears willing only to fire up the base--but never (so far as I can see) to reach out to independents and undecideds.

Do you not think that the latter would be much better?

    Minnesota WON'T Go RED.

Unless you are planning on Trump getting a 50-State Sweep.

Zero Chance that MN goes Red. NONE. :flagus:

Take a look at some of the polling out there-he does have appeal with moderates and independents. He's doing that by delivering on his promises and (rightly) calling out corruption.

He's a 21st century politician, and a political new comer-if you are expecting a Jimmy Carter Malaise candidate you will be disappointed.

He's correctly seen that space where moderates, independents, and conservatives are, and filled that void as the democrats devote their time to the chemical castration of children and giving prison inmates free sex change operations.

It is good to see Trump haters shaking in their boots. They know the tidal wave of Trump support is coming.

They can feel it. Not rationally, but like how dogs get freaked out during an earthquake or solar eclipse.

OK. I am going to hold you to that "prediction". :roflol:

My MN 2020 "prediction"--MN goes BLUE.

Unless you foresee a Trump 50-State Sweep (MN isn't going Red).

Am I to assume that you are on record "predicting" a 50-State Sweep?:flagus:

Well, it is quite possible that Minnesota--as has historically been the case--will go blue in 2020.

But I do have some difficulty with you final paragraph.

Larry Sabato--a political analyst whom I deeply respect--shows Minnesota in the "Leans Blue" category. (That means that it is more likely to go Democratic than Republican in the 2020 presidential election; but it is not anywhere near the "Safe Blue" category--and does not rate even as "Likely Blue.")

It is in the same category as Nevada, Colorado, Michigan, Vermont, Maine, and Virginia.

So it is by no means a done deal.

Yeah, I just saw.it. Deplorable language. Deeply deplorable. Trump might swear like the devil behind closed doors but this and the bu**ll-s**t tweet really marks where he's begun to drop charades.
Actually, I'm surprised it took this long.

Not sure what makes me more angry; his unpaid tax-bill OR this kind of beneath contempt behavior.
Is this the kind of language a, supposedly, American President wants children to hear..?!

Why are we even still bestowing this presidential title on him?
Titles are not just given, they have to be earned!
Trump has earned nothing but the contempt of decent people everywhere.

Honest, hard working families, with children, should turn away from this monstrosity of a man.
    And they will.
NO extra dollar in your pocket should be worth selling your soul to this kind of anti-human.

And spare me the replies that say it's okay for Trump to speak like this because he's the President or because he's doing a good job or whatever.
It's NEVER okay to engage in this kind of foul language when, being President, you're supposed to uphold decent moral values.

But hey; we all suspected that, in the end, the bu**ll-s**t and a*s talk was going to come out, right?

Shame on him. His language is...

He's your President until 2025, and I'd argue he should stay in office until 2028 because of all the impeachment crap.

Only if he is impeached, removed from office and then reelected.
I think the Founders would agree that putting up with that much nonsense at least two more consecutive terms is what they had in mind. ;-)

My take is that MN is a Must-Win for the Dems and can only be lost in an unforeseeable (at this point) GOP "Wave Election".

Sure there is always a "Chance".

The three ring circus the leftist lunatics turned the streets of Minnesota last night still looks tame in comparison to the barking moonbattery that was going on at the Democratic Town Trannyfest last night.

It's ******ned surreal what was going on over there. There were weirdos seriously arguing that it's wrong to try and keep AIDS-contamination out of the blood supply, because it hurts the feelings of heroin addicts, and sexually-reckless gay men.

There were people who wanted puberty-blocking drugs to be cheaper so it would be more affordable to chemically-mutate and castrate children.

Then you had Grampy Biden talking about gay bathhouses in San Fran and the shock of seeing two fellas kissing, because his Alzies was in sundowning mode and he thought it was 1982.

The Democrats are really pandering to this lunacy? Is this really happening?

    Is this real life?

They asked shultz how he would lower the price on puberty blocking drugs.

Thats what the democrat party is worried about these days.
