No matter how many times this gets said it won't make it true. In 2015 there was a money laundering investigation into the founder of Burisma by the UK. It failed in large part due to the lack of cooperation by the Ukrainian prosecutor's office led by Shokin who professed their innocence.
By demanding Shokin's ouster for corruption by he himself along with all the other donors Biden wasn't decreasing chances of his son, or the company who employed him, getting investigated but actually increasing the chances. Oh sure, Shokin is claiming now that he was just getting around to investigating Burisma when he was fired but he seems to be the only one that knew it and his lack of cooperation with the Brits in the preceding months puts the lie to his claim.

His DOWNPLAYING the seriousness of the Ukraine investigation and the Bidens are another attempt to PREVENT his involvement coming to light.
