If their core consumer base is dependent on them donating to anti-gay organizations then maybe they should abandon that base anyway. Definitely not a base that will sustain them long term seeing that that group is slowly dying off.

 

It was not meant to be more subtle than you saying gay people are allied with pedophiles.

Like I said, the vast majority denounced them in the 80’s, during these periods gay people were being murdered, tortured and arrested so they probably had other things to worry about than monitoring who was participating in various marches around the country.

At least it is not still going on like is happening in the church in 2019 — they are still suing to protect pedophiles in their ranks.

 

That is a valid argument, but I think the Christian base was far more likely to sustain them in against new targeted competition than those who are concerned enough about Christians embracing the gay political agenda to stop buying CFA.

Gay people are not pedophiles, they do not support pedophiles, and any accusations of such you can usually expect a response based in anger instead of rational debate.

It is the easiest way to go from being taken seriously to being classified as a bigot or troll.

I am pretty sure they are just trying to ban it as a medical treatment as it causes permanent harm and significant increases in depression and suicidal tendency. As a general practice — done by churches and the sort — I don’t think they are involved. I could be wrong though.

No, most of my family that loves CFA will go regardless, we went last Saturday when I was down visiting them actually. This was brought up momentarily but not discussed at length.

The people I knew that were not going were friends and employees plus a few old classmates.
