Trump has not indicated whether the TrumpCare he hopes yet to pass will be his campaign confection or the far different version that he almost signed into law.

Are you trying to draw a parallel between mandatory health insurance and auto insurance? You dont have to drive a car on public roads, If you own a large property, you are free to drive all you want with no lincense or insurance, you are not FORCED to buy auto insurance unless you CHOOSE to drive on public roads. It's not the govs place to FORCE you to buy a private product. Period.

OK, my recent experience. I have kidney stones and a bad UTI and I'm not yet 40. First visit with the urologist 215$

So I looked into a bare bones ACA policy, 138$ A MONTH and a 5K deductible. The chances of my total treatment being over 5k are slim, before this I have a perfect bill of health so an ACA policy is not worth the paper it's written on and even IF my treatment exceeds 5K the chances are an ACA plan will not cover a specialist. So what would be the point of that policy, in my shoes? I'm just paying cash, for now.

 

What is my share? Why can’t you answer that? How is someone who pays their own bills a freeloader? That’s bizarre.

So when you say you don’t trust me to pay my bills, you think you’ve made a brilliant point. But if I say I don’t trust you to fund the collective, it’s unsubstantiated claims? Ha.
