    You said "You claimed posters admitted to not paying bills". Not one of those posts says anything about any poster's bills. So now it's clear that you either didn't read well, or you manipulated what I wrote. Don't know which but now I know I need to be aware of your propensity to this behavior.

    Not only did I read it. I quoted it! And since I quoted it you have done nothing but try to rebut it. Which would be fine if it weren't because it was your source. You brought it up as evidence to your point. Obviously not being aware that it proved exactly the contrary.

    So... from that point on... all I have done is quote it. If you want to retract your source, then retract it and show a different one. If you agree with it, then agree with it. That's all.

    I say again.

    My argument: "Only in an extremely limited number of cases." [referring to people who are not insured, die, and their estate has to pay the hospital bill]

    You said "No. In all cases such as YOUR scenario." (bold added to highlight)

    And from the link you sent to support the above I quote

    "Survivors usually aren't responsible for debts, but there are exceptions"
    ...
    "In most cases, the answer is no. Exceptions can exist, such as if you're the surviving spouse and you live in a community property state, or if you cosigned on a particular debt, but for the most part, heirs don't "inherit" debt."
    The quoted expressions "exceptions" and "in most cases.. no" does not evoke the same idea as of "In all cases" in the mind of any English speaker.

    So I have no idea why you are still trying to debate this.

    Obamacare was a real bill that radically changed healthcare.

    There is no Trumpcare.

    You seem to be a fan of a lot of crazy notions, but this time it's actually an imaginary one. What fever dreams make you think that we are living under some sort of GOP healthcare bill?

    My source says the estate of the deceased pays the medical bills. I supplied the quotes. You can quote irrelevant parts of it all you want. You are still incorrect. The estate always pays the bills. It is the law. It’s not debatable.


    Dude, survivors and estates are two entirely different things. Estates are always, ALWAYS, required to pay outstanding bills. In many states medical debt has first lien on estate assets. It’s a fact. Survivors are sometimes responsible beyond estate assets. Please educate yourself on the difference between estates and survivors. You are embarrassing yourself.

    You are claiming things that are demonstrably false. When those false statements are being used to try and force people into a behavior you want, it’s relevant. It’s very relevant. I won’t stand by and have authoritarianism marketed under false premises and disinformation.

    There are two parts in this discussion. They both refer to exactly the same quotes of statements I made.

    The quotes are part of a discussion around an example I submitted about people who die in a hospital without paying their bill.

    Here's the difference, on the second part, you interpret it correctly. Because that's what you are trying (though poorly) to discuss. But on the first part... you choose to incorrectly interpret it as me talking about somebody on this forum not paying their bills.

    How can somebody interpret the same quotes in two radically different ways? Convenience?

    Obviously, I'm not talking about anybody on this forum not paying their bills. Because nobody on this forum, that I know of, has died and left unpaid bills at the hospital.

    So the only possible explanation is some sort of malicious intent.

    I don't get this thread either. Trump hasn't changed the ACA in any meaningful way. The giveaway of taxpayer money to the insurance companies is ongoing.

    I didn't elect Trump for his healthcare. If you're voting for someone because you're interested in what kind of health care they'll "give you", then you need to examine what's happening in your life.

    If the TrumpCare that Fake Don promised would be "something terrific!" that "covers everybody!" at "less cost!" is not yet all you expected, not yet a fait accompli, what exactly does he have in the works to fulfill his stated vision?

    He better stop pleasuring himself with his pissy tweets and focus upon getting his plan passed, because, under TrumpCare as it is, cost continues to soar like his national debt, and millions more Americans are losing coverage and being consigned to the taxpayer tab.

    Democrats control the House, so there will be no opportunity for "Trumpcare" until the GOP wins the House, but my issue is that you seem to be under some delusion that we have Trumpcare now.

    You know... Trump has this idea that if he commits enough crimes, he'll "flood" people that they will just give up and not hold him accountable. You seem to be following the same playbook. In this case, making so many unsubstantiated claims, that people will give up and accept your nonsense.

    Yeah... I can't think of a reason why somebody who never drives a car on public roads would have to pay auto insurance. But that doesn't mean I believe your statement is true... Unless you don't drive at all.

    Funny. I should take a play right out of the democratic play book. Back when I would participate in datehookup forum there as a couple of Obamanistas on there that "before" the ACA was passed would argue that they have Obamacare and they love it. How do you argue with that?
    So my answer then is: I have Trumpcare and it covers everything and I love it.

    Take that.
