The legal expert chosen by by the DP bosses now insists they did not actually impeach Trump.

"As for the headlines we saw after the House vote saying, “TRUMP IMPEACHED,” those are a media shorthand, not a technically correct legal statement. So far, the House has voted to impeach (future tense) Trump. He isn’t impeached (past tense) until the articles go to the Senate and the House members deliver the message."
BLOOMBERG, Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate, According to the Constitution, impeachment is a process, not a vote., By Noah Feldman, December 19, 2019.

So far, according to the DP's expert "TRUMP IMPEACHED" is just more MSM Fake News.

IOW, this Fake Impeachment is just a hoot and a holler for our entertainment. ;-)

Trump is of course officially legally impeached.

Interesting theory... Hadn't read that before..

I think the answer is yes... Somebody said the Articles are forever, not tied to any particular Congress... Even if the R's retake the House in 2020, the Articles don't go away, although in THAT scenario, they certainly won't forward the Articles to the Senate for trial, on the justifiable grounds that Nancy didn't throughout 2020.

And I agree with your []... the one thing that won't happen is Trump/Dem Senate... any of the other 3 scenarios are possible...

IOW, you think Noah Feldman, the Harvard legal expert chosen by the House DP is all wet?

"That’s because “impeachment” under the Constitution means the House sending its approved articles of to the Senate, with House managers standing up in the Senate and saying the president is impeached."

In other news, the US didn't bomb Hiroshima because the bomb was detonated 600 meters OVER Hiroshima...

Of course the left will criticize TG for her honesty and because they know she is right, despite the fact that TG is one of them. Mind boggling.

You mean like Mitch did with Garland?

We have jurors openly saying it is going to be a sham trial — she should absolutely be allowed to hold off until an impartial senate enters or those individuals recuse themselves. And the constitution seems to potentially allow it.

What is the specific statute of limitations?
Is it listed in any law or preferably in the constitution itself? — I cannot seem to find it...

Why is it in Democrat “fantasy land”, I specifically said it was a highly improbable hypothetical.

Voting 'present' means she wanted to vote against it, but was under pressure from party leadership. So, impeachment is, in this case, totally a partisan ploy and the left is showing it every time they make a move.

Well, the one thing we should all be able to agree on is that the last person to know the final answer is noted Constitutional Scholar, J. Donald Trump.

    Feldman?

    From an OPINION Piece?

That absurd "Opinion" that made the rounds yesterday (and has been shot down (and thoroughly debunked) on multiple levels), in which Feldman is claiming to KNOW what "the framers" "assumed"?

I MAY (Repeat MAY) give some credence to Feldman's absurd "assumption"...

IF--He is able to produce James Madison (and have Madison Agree with this "assumption") and schedule a Nationally-Televised Townhall (for a Q. and A.)

    ^UNLESS that happens...

...Feldman might as well be making "assumptions" about the latest Bat Boy sighting.

    Noah Feldman's "Assumptions"? :roflol:

And, some people are hanging their hats on that? (Like it is "Settled Law")? :roflol:

    Wow. :smh:

There seems to be quite a lot of DISINFORMATION floating around in certain quarters of the internet.:smh:

So, were Peterson and Golden "under pressure" from party leadership?? If so, what does that say about her vote then?

Yeah? Maybe, I don't know, but the talking head I saw said they're permanent...

LOL, who would expunge them?? A Republican House in 20NEVER??

If they can be expunged, maybe Slick Willie deserves another look?? His impeachment, while warranted, was a lot less egregious than this schmucks...

Another commentator "suggested" that Bat Boy would be the Final Arbiter.

There seems to be quite a few "commentators" and "opinions" out there.

With NOTHING to back them up except "assumptions".:smh:

the senate has nothing to do with the house impeachment. The only function the senate has related to impeachment is to hold a trial to determine if he is removed from office or not. Trump remains, legally and officially impeached.
