    I’ve always said corporate tax is a hidden monster for America. I will guarantee that a corporate tax placed on Amazon will cost Jeff Bezos not a single penny. He will just raise the price of product and pass the tax to the consumer. Corporate tax is no more than an operating/overhead cost for any company. No different than labor, workman’s comp, unemployment tax, transportation costs, employer matching FICA, rent/utilities etc. All costs of goods/services are always figured into the selling price.

    They should care because of their particular brand of Christianity. Evangelicals are called such because a major part of their faith is centered around the need to proselytize, which is just a fancy way of saying "marketing and selling". They need to do this not just because their Lord and Savior commanded them to do so, but because it is how they grow.

    Evangelicals spent decades harboring anger at losing the culture wars of the 60s and they have made a bargain with the devil in the form of Trump to feed their apocalyptic obsessions.

    I find it profound that there are things in this thread that are being stated about Evangelicals that are blatantly off of the mark.

    If you are going to try to mock people, at least be astute enough to be knowlegible of what you are trying to put them down about.

    It's not really about "evangelicals." It's just another "evil white people" racist narrative in disguise. It's why they use the term "evangelicals" instead of simply "Christians." Wherever you see the term "evangelical" in their lie narratives and propaganda, just substitute "whitey" or "cracker" to get the actual intent.

    Note the instantaneous transition from "Christianity" in the thread title (because the title of the mag is "Christianity Today") to "white evangelicals" in the first line of the OP. That's by design.

    Folks, are they fooling with you with their thinly-veiled anti white racism? Me neither.

    Note I did not say ALL Christians are fake but there are certainly many exist out there. I know because there are quite a few of them within my family and quite a few fake Christians support Trump. They condemn Clinton for a being a womanizer but when it comes to Trump....well, he is just an alpha male or God forgive his sins. Those type of Christians deserved to be mocked but you go right ahead and defend them.

    Most Christians are nice people who mean well, but IMO are all too silent when the extremists among them are trying to legislate the behaviors of others. Again, I say screw 'em.
