Very good attempt at diversion. You seem to be the only poster wanting to know how many fires are caused by climate change verses arson. What has been explained to you is a change in the climate has caused a tinderbox and arson or not , climate change is responsible. And there ain't no tellin how many fire were natural and how many were started on purpose. It ain't science you seek it is conforming evidence to support your side. And you will not accept ANY evidence to the contrary.

Then ultimately what separates what is called science, from what is ultimately guesswork?

What we are able to observe, and the ever improving methods by which we make our observations.
Eventually we do have to make some form of guess. Though science can limit the range of possible guesses we make. I guess that when I stand up from my chair my feet will contact the ground and I will not phase through it. Yet, something so spectacular and unprecedented could happen that would prove that to not be the case. It would prove my guess to be inaccurate and we would have a new understanding of what could happen when or feet contact the ground. That’s of course all hyperbolic, but given the questions science seeks to answer. There’s room for past guesses to be proven untrue.

Here's the truth. Arsonists set the Australian fires. The Australian fires had nothing to do with global warming which occurring according to the IPCC consensus at a rate of 0.03 degrees Centigrade per year.

Droughts are weather phenomena. Just as in California the drought will be followed by well above average rain and snow fall. The drought in Australia has nothing to do with the IPCC 0.03 degrees Centigrade per year consensus warming.
