    This seems complicated. He was charged with war crimes but was mostly acqutted. But everyone is calling him a war criminal:

    Gallagher was convicted by court martial for posing for a picture with a dead terrorist They tried to convict him of more serious crimes, but was acquitted of those charges. We do not punish people for crimes for which they are found not guilty. His punishment did not fit the crime.

    His fellow troops said he was a sadistic butcher and testified against him at his court martial. Dirty Donald needs to stay the hell out of military justice and civilian justice.

    His court martial found him not guilty of those charges. The court martial board took it on themselves to punish him for crimes which they found him not guilty.

    Dirty Donald interfered in the trial his Atty.Mark Murkasey(Sp?), defended Gallagher at his court martial.His troops said he had killed other prisoners in cold blood.

    Gallagher was found not guilty by a panel of officers. Since when do we punish someone after he has been found not guilty?

    Again. He was found not guilty. The military failed to prove their case. We don't sentence people for crimes which they are found not guilty.

    But he DID brag about killing the guy he took the picture with

    Trump reduced his sentence. He was found not guilty of all charges except the picture. His sentence was out of proportion with what he was found guilty of.

    The "crime" he was convicted of was only a "crime" by stretching the definition of the term beyond all reason.

    The judge begs to differ. He was convicted! And the guy is obviously a psycho, according to his fellow combatants. We don't need psychos out in the streets. Only Trump does.
