    My concern is going to be how much of a "conspiracy theory" this is going to be for certain members of society (regardless of political ideologue/political affiliation), but I would also look at how red states vs blue states are going to be able to react to this crisis. My guess is there will be very different abilities to respond. That being said, a rural vs urban divide may become very important in the months to come.

    Never underestimate the power of conspiracy theories and disease. Think about why people are calling this the "Wuhan virus". Is it because of it being first documented in China, or is it because it's to stroke anti-sino sentiments already existing, and to further affiliation with a political party?

    Viruses are not political but one political side seems to be behaving different than the other. At least based on what I'm reading here. That more republicans will die is an easy conclusion to come to.

    Yet you have two separate reference points. "These people" and Goldman. We know this because of what your implications of your statement would be. Are you really saying only these two people need to stop politicizing the corona virus? Or are you saying "these people" more broadly need to stop politicizing the corona virus? You can try to shy away from a larger claim by just focusing on these two people. But you can't because of your last sentence. "People need.." indicates that there are other people other than these two that need to "grow up". So I'll ask you again, who are "these people"? Don't worry, I won't judge you. I'm actually genuinely interested in knowing why you think the way you do about this.

    She wrote the article.. The context of the article is what she said.. Thus in a manner of discussing what she said you speak about her....

    But go ahead try to find fault in that.. Or heck discuss me instead of Rubin which seems the intent.

    Like the great pathologist William Boyd said, disease is no respecter of persons. Hell, this virus doesn't even know what politics is, although it seems to rage against old persons much more than young persons.

    Do you have the "mortality" data you spoke of that would back her claim?

    Be careful of what you want btw.. If you are suggesting you cant discuss the author of comments a simple look at some random post historys of calling people "****ing morons" because of said comments might not be what you want..

    Or if there is a protected class of public figures that breaks forum rules by all means fill me in...

    One "Side" believes it is a "Serious Public Health Emergency".

    The Other "Side" believes it is a "Deep State Hoax to Bring Down Trump".

    Obviously, Rubin's Analysis is Spot-On.
