    Americans like to be able to plan for the future. Hiding bad numbers in an attempt to make yourself look good always back-fires in the end. FDR didn't try and hide the severity of the attack at Pearl Harbor - he laid it out so people could prepare for what was going to need to be done to come back from it.

    Ya and leftist LOVE to spin those bad numbers! And what better time to do so then a pandemic and quarantine, right.. They aint fooling anyone, they cherish the idea of using this sad time in our country to slam one f%$#ing man. They don't care about the people holed up in their homes they only care about how they can FIT TRUMP in to it as blame :)

    Need proof, read the OP and then pay much closer attention to what you have been posting ;)

    I'd rather he be honest and up front as opposed to hiding the truth from the American people. The investors already know what the deal is even if you hide it from them for a few days.

    I do not want panic. I want an opaque administration. These numbers are going to come out whether Trump likes it or not. Attempting to delay their release will not help him at all.

    That seems to be the trend with the Trump administration. I watch the daily COVID-19 press conference, and every day, Trump gets up there and lies about some aspect or other, either the number of masks being manufactured (he pulls a number out of his ass, as usual) or when those two hospital ships will be ready to deploy (he says next week, but both ships are currently under modification/renovation and have few supplies and no medical staff, so it will likely be at least a month before either of them are ready to help).

    Those are just two examples ... there's some bee ess coming from that little cake hole of his every single day. Well, maybe not every day ... he's probably golfing in Florida as I write this.

    Some of his horse pucky is irrelevant, but much of it is a misrepresentation of important information, and his lies can cost lives. He's the president, his base listens to him and believes every word. He was not taking this pandemic seriously until maybe ten days ago, and still his focus is more on how all things reflect on him, personally. The numbers and the markets are his only concern, not sick and dying Americans.

    What did he lie about the mask? He said the ships will be ready in the next week or so...he wasn’t specific.

    He talked today how the private sector has geared up to produce more mask and other products, thankfully we are a free market economy with a fantastic private manufacturing base that will help pull us through.

    What’s wrong, if you believed in your poll enough to use it to refute another's argument you should stand by the metrics.
    How many people were polled?
